Claims
- 1. In a method of making a U-shaped pedestal liner for a railway vehicle, said liner having a bight portion and a pair of substantially parallel legs extending from said bight portion, the improvement comprising securing a layer of a first polymer having a low friction co-efficient to said bight portion, and securing to said legs a second polymer having a low friction co-efficient and a different wear characteristic than said first polymer, said first polymer being polyethylene or nylon and said second polymer being ultra high molecular weight polyethylene.
- 2. A method as set forth in claim 1 and including the step of securing a layer of said second polymer between said bight portion and said layer of said first polymer.
