1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates generally to a griller, and more particularly to an innovative pedestal structure of a griller.
2. Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98
The existing large-sized grillers are typically comprised of a pedestal, a hearth, and cover. The pedestal is provided with an inner space for accommodating gas barrels and other roasting utensils, making it possible to form an aesthetically pleasing griller structure.
The main objective of the present invention is to provide an improved pedestal structure of the aforementioned griller. A typical pedestal structure is generally composed of two lateral plates, a back plate and front door. For the objective of convenient operation, the lateral plates of pedestal are made of metal sheets, and fixed securely with screw bolts. If the front door is a double-door version, two door panels shall be screwed separately into a forward part of two lateral plates. However, the disadvantages are found during application.
For example, since the lateral plates of the pedestal are fixed with screw bolts, the assembled portions of the entire pedestal cannot be positioned stably. In the event of external pushing and collision, or uneven ground surface, the square pedestal structure is prone to oscillate, thus creating a parallel distortion without desired structural stability. As two door panels are screwed separately into two lateral plates, the oblique lateral plates will lead to misalignment of two door panels without flush connection, thus affecting the appearance of the griller.
Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement in the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve efficacy.
To this end, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.
The enhanced efficacy of the present invention includes an integral square frame 20. The pedestal structure of the present invention now offers positioning components of better rigidity to two lateral plates 11 and bottom plate 13. So, the combination of lateral plates of the pedestal body 10 resist deformation against collision or an uneven ground surface, thus serving the objective of improved stability and durability.
The present invention also provides the frame 20 with two folded door panels 30. Flush mounting and smoothness through alignment of two door panels 30 is now possible to suit the demands of higher industrial applicability.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
The features and the advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The pedestal A comprises a hollow pedestal body 10, which includes two lateral plates 11, a back plate 12 and a bottom plate 13, thus forming an inner space 14 and a lateral open end 15.
The pedestal A also has a frame 20, which is an integral square frame body forming an upper frame portion 21, a lower frame portion 22, a left frame portion 23 and a right frame portion 24. The frame 20 is positioned fixedly onto lateral open end 15 of said pedestal body 10. The lower frame portion 22 is assembled with a frontal side of the bottom plate 13, while the left and right frame portions 23, 24 are separately assembled with frontal side of two lateral plates 11.
The frame 20 is provided with at least a door panel 30, e.g. two folded door panels 30. A projecting lug 25 is arranged at top and bottom of the frame 20, and also provided with an axle hole 26. The convex axle 31 can be separately placed at a top and bottom of two door panels 30 for insertion into the axle hole 26, thus enabling two door panels 30 to oscillate or start/stop flexibly.
The left and right frame portions 23, 24 of the frame 20 and two lateral plates 11, or the lower frame portion 22 and the bottom plate 13 can be fixed via screw bolt 40. Referring to
The left and right frame portions 23, 24 of the frame 20 and two lateral plates 11, or the lower frame portion 22 and the bottom plate 13 can be fixed securely with convex and concave portions. Referring to
A wheel body 50 is placed at a bottom of the lower frame portion 22 of the pedestal body 10, meanwhile two wheel bodies 50 are also mounted at two rear corners at bottoms of the bottom plate 13 of the pedestal body 10, making it possible for pedestal A to slide and shift.
Additionally, the pedestal A of the present invention is only a bottom framework of the griller, as shown in
