The inventive concept relates generally to an easy to use and size gift wrapping paper.
Currently, there are several solutions for wrapping gifts and dealing with gift boxes of various sizes requiring measuring and cutting and then adhesive taping. One of these solutions provides for gift wrapping bags for gifts of various sizes. Although easy, this solution fails to meet the needs of the market because the assembly of sizes can be expensive. Another solution provides pre-cut sizes of wrapping sheets, but this solution is similarly unable to meet the needs of the market for larger boxes and is wasteful for smaller boxes or gifts to be wrapped. Finally, kits that provide pre-cut sheets may provide adhesive strips for wrapping scissors but may not provide for customizing the size of the wrapping paper to the gift or gift box size to be wrapped. Therefore, there currently exists a need in the market for a device or apparatus that eliminates the need for scissors and tape for wrapping gifts of various sizes.
The inventive concept relates generally to perforated, peel and stick wrapping paper, applicable to gifts or box or package wrapping for shipment as well. There is provided a giftwrapping system which includes a sheet of giftwrapping paper having an inside surface and an outside surface. The giftwrapping paper includes at least one pre-perforated line and edge and at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion formed adjacent to the pre-perforated line, wherein the at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion is covered with peelable strip members which when peeled expose an adhesive strip underneath and is ready to accept another part of the paper for package wrapping.
In one embodiment of the giftwrapping system, the inside surface of the wrapping paper includes longitudinal and latitudinal lines adapted for pre-measured gift box sizes wherein the pre-perforated lines are formed on or adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.
In one embodiment of the giftwrapping system, the pre-applied adhesive strips are formed adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.
In one embodiment of the giftwrapping system, the longitudinal and latitudinal lines are adapted to conform to multiple pre-measured gift box sizes. In one embodiment of this giftwrapping system, the wrapping paper is dispensed one of the following configurations: on a roll or as separate sheets in a box or passage.
In one embodiment of the giftwrapping system, the longitudinal and latitudinal lines are adapted to conform to one pre-measured gift box size. In one embodiment of this giftwrapping system, the wrapping paper is dispensed on or from a roll or box.
In one embodiment of the giftwrapping system, a wax coating is disposed on the sheet of giftwrapping paper. In a related embodiment, a reusable adhesive is used in the adhesive portion to ensure realignment of wrapping paper without tearing or ripping same.
In yet another related embodiment, the wrapping system is formed from a fabric sheet having pre-perforated sections for easy tear-away or simple cutting and uses fabric adhesive or hook and loop strips as the adhesive strip to hold opposite portions of the sheet together. Other fasteners, snap buttons and magnets can also be used.
A giftwrapping method includes wrapping with a sheet of giftwrapping or decorative paper having an inside surface and an outside surface, the giftwrapping paper including at least one pre-perforated line and edge separated before wrapping. The giftwrapping method further includes removing at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion during wrapping formed adjacent to the perforated line, wherein the at least one adhesive strip portion is covered with peelable strip members which when peeled exposes the adhesive strip underneath. The giftwrapping method further includes applying the adhesive strip portion to at least one or more of the box or the sheet of giftwrapping paper.
One embodiment of the giftwrapping method includes using longitudinal and latitudinal lines displayed on the inside surface of the wrapping paper adapted for pre-measured gift box sizes to align the gift box and wrap the gift box wherein the pre-perforated lines are formed on or adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.
One embodiment of the giftwrapping method includes applying pre-applied adhesive strips formed adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.
One embodiment of the giftwrapping method includes using longitudinal and latitudinal lines displayed on the inside surface of the wrapping paper adapted to conform to multiple pre-measured gift box sizes to align boxes. This embodiment of the giftwrapping method may includes drawing the wrapping paper from a dispensing roll.
One embodiment of the giftwrapping method includes using longitudinal and latitudinal lines displayed on the inside surface of the wrapping paper adapted to conform to one pre-measured gift box size to align boxes. This embodiment of the giftwrapping method may includes drawing the wrapping paper from a dispensing roll.
A giftwrapping system may have a sheet of giftwrapping paper having an inside surface and an outside surface, the giftwrapping paper including at least one pre-perforated line and edge and at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion formed adjacent to the perforated line, wherein the at least one adhesive strip portion is covered with peelable strip members which when peeled expose the adhesive strip underneath. In this embodiment, the sheets include an assembly of sheets including at least one or more of a template of substantially 4 inches by 4 inches by 4 inches; 14 inches by 4.5 inches by 1.25 inches; 10 inches by 14 inches by 5 inches; and 11 inches by 17 inches by 2.5 inches for example.
In this embodiment of the giftwrapping system, the inside surface of the wrapping paper includes longitudinal and latitudinal lines adapted for pre-measured gift box sizes wherein the pre-perforated lines are formed on or adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.
In one embodiment of the giftwrapping system, the longitudinal and latitudinal lines are adapted to conform to any one pre-measured gift box size of 4 inches by 4 inches by 4 inches; 14 inches by 4.5 inches by 1.25 inches; 10 inches by 14 inches by 5 inches; or 11 inches by 17 inches by 2.5 inches. In this embodiment of the giftwrapping system, the wrapping paper may be dispensed on a roll but may also be dispensed from a box.
It would be advantageous to have a giftwrapping system or apparatus that is pre-measured for use without rulers or measuring tapes. Furthermore, it would be advantageous to have an apparatus that is perforated for use without scissors. Still further, it would be advantageous to have an apparatus that contains adhesive edges for use without rolls of tape or glue sticks.
The inventive concept advantageously fills the aforementioned deficiencies by providing pre-perforated, pre-adhesive with peelable strip covers and pressure stick wrapping paper, which provides a convenient way for users to wrap gifts of various sizes.
The inventive concept in another embodiment is pre-cut, peel-and-stick wrapping paper. The wrapping system or apparatus has pre-measured box sizes. The apparatus has adhesive and perforated edges. The apparatus fulfills the need for peel and stick wrapping paper.
Among other things, it is an advantage of the inventive concept to provide perforated peel-and-stick wrapping paper that does not suffer from problems or deficiencies associated with prior solutions. It is still further an advantage of the inventive concept to come in multiple designs and sizes.
