- 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the results comprise one or more patterns associated with the domain-specific event.
- 5. The method of claim 4, wherein the one or more patterns are determined in real time during the event.
- 6. The method of claim 4, wherein the one or more determined patterns correspond to one or more rules.
- 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the one or more rules are updated based on at least one of newly obtained data and at least one new user-specified criterion.
- 8. The method of claim 6, wherein the one or more rules have a time period associated therewith.
- 9. The method of claim 1, wherein the results comprise one or more recommendations associated with the domain-specific event.
- 10. The method of claim 9, wherein the one or more recommendations are updated based on at least one of newly obtained data and at least one new user-specified criterion.
- 11. The method of claim 9, wherein the one or more recommendations are determined in real time during the event.
- 12. The method of claim 1, wherein the results comprise one or more predictions associated with the domain-specific event.
- 13. The method of claim 12, wherein the one or more predictions are updated based on at least one of newly obtained data and at least one new user-specified criterion.
- 14. The method of claim 12, wherein the one or more predictions are determined in real time during the event.
- 15. The method of claim 1, wherein the data associated with the domain-specific event is obtained from a database.
- 16. The method of claim 1, wherein the one or more results relate to a measure of at least one of performance, style and strategy associated with an aspect of the domain-specific event.
- 17. The method of claim 1, further comprising the step of retrieving multimedia data corresponding to at least a portion of the results.
- 18. The method of claim 1, further comprising the step of visualizing multimedia data corresponding to at least a portion of the results.
- 19. The method of claim 1, further comprising the step of deriving one or more visualizations of multimedia data corresponding to at least a portion of the results.
- 20. The method of claim 1, further comprising the step of automatically determining new results associated with the domain-specific event based on user interaction with one or more visual representations of the domain-specific event.
- 21. Apparatus for processing data associated with a domain-specific event, the apparatus comprising:
at least one processor operative to: (i) obtain data associated with the domain-specific event, the data at least comprising sensor data captured in accordance with the event and analyzed; and (ii) automatically determine results associated with the domain-specific event in accordance with at least a portion of the analyzed sensor data, and based on at least one user-specified criterion.
- 22. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the sensor data is analyzed in real time.
- 23. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the results comprise one or more patterns associated with the domain-specific event.
- 24. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the results comprise one or more recommendations associated with the domain-specific event.
- 25. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the results comprise one or more predictions associated with the domain-specific event.
- 26. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the one or more results relate to a measure of at least one of performance, style and strategy associated with an aspect of the domain-specific event.
- 27. An article of manufacture for processing data associated with a domain-specific event, the article comprising a machine readable medium containing one or more programs which when executed implement the steps of:
obtaining data associated with the domain-specific event, the data at least comprising sensor data captured in accordance with the event and analyzed; and automatically determining results associated with the domain-specific event in accordance with at least a portion of the analyzed sensor data, and based on at least one user-specified criterion.
- 28. Apparatus for processing data associated with a domain-specific event, the apparatus comprising:
a data mining engine operative to: (i) retrieve data associated with the domain-specific event, the data at least comprising sensor data captured in accordance with the event and analyzed; and (ii) automatically determine results associated with the domain-specific event in accordance with at least a portion of the analyzed sensor data, and based on at least one user-specified criterion; and an interface for presenting at least a portion of the determined results to a user, and for receiving the user-specified criterion.
