Claims
- 1. A permanent magnet rotating electric machine comprising:a stator having stator salient poles; three-phase windings wound around said stator salient poles; a rotor held rotatably relative to said stator; and permanent magnets inserted into said rotor and positioned opposite to said stator salient, wherein said three-phase windings are concentratively wound around each of said stator salient poles, and the number of poles of said permanent magnets is eight or more.
- 2. A permanent magnet rotating electric machine according to claim 1, wherein a magnetic pole piece area of said rotor is projected toward said stator.
- 3. A permanent magnet rotating electric machine comprising:a stator having stator salient poles; three-phase windings wound around said stator salient poles; a rotor held rotatably relative to said stator; and permanent magnets inserted into said rotor and positioned opposite to said stator salient, wherein said three-phase windings are concentratively wound around each of said stator salient poles; and said rotor further comprises a magnetic material having a higher magnetic impermeability than said permanent magnets, disposed between adjacent ones of said permanent magnets.
- 4. An electrically driven vehicle comprising:a permanent magnet rotating electric machine being coupled to drive wheels comprising: a stator having stator salient poles; three-phase windings wound around said stator salient poles; a rotor held rotatably relative to said stator; and permanent magnets inserted into said rotor and positioned opposite to said stator salient poles, and control means for supplying a voltage to said three-phase windings, wherein said three-phase windings are concentratively wound around each of said salient poles; the number of poles of said permanent magnets is eight or more, and said rotor further comprises a magnetic material having a higher magnetic impermeability than said permanent magnets, disposed between adjacent ones of said permanent magnets.
- 5. An electrically driven vehicle having a permanent magnet rotating machine comprising:a stator having stator salient poles; three-phase windings wound around said stator salient poles; a rotor held rotatably relative to said stator; and permanent magnets inserted into said rotor and positioned opposite to said stator salient, wherein said three-phase windings are concentratively wound around each of said stator salient poles, and the number of poles of said permanent magnets is eight or more.
- 6. The electrically driven vehicle according to claim 4, wherein a magnetic pole piece area of said rotor is projected toward said stator.
- 7. An electrically driven vehicle comprising:a stator having stator salient poles; three-phase windings wound around said stator salient poles; a rotor held rotatably relative to said stator; and permanent magnets inserted into said rotor and positioned opposite to said stator salient, wherein said three-phase windings are concentratively wound around each of said stator salient poles; and said rotor further comprises a magnetic material having a higher magnetic impermeability than said permanent magnets, disposed between adjacent ones of said permanent magnets.
