The disclosure relates to convenience kits and more particularly pertains to a new convenience kit enabling sanitary use of public bathrooms.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a holder. The holder comprises a housing that is configured to selectively and singly retain one of a plurality of spray bottles. A receptacle is coupled to the housing. The receptacle is configured to selectively and singly retain one of a plurality of packets. The kit comprises a plurality of sanitizing aids and a plurality of personal care items. The sanitizing aids and the personal care items are selectively positionable in the housing and the receptacle. The kit comprises a bag that is configured to carry and selectively stow the holder, the sanitizing aids, and the personal care items. The sanitizing aids and the personal care items are readily transportable by the user to and readily accessible to the user in a public bathroom.

A receptacle 22 is coupled to the housing 14. The receptacle 22 is configured to selectively and singly retain one of a plurality of packets 24. The receptacle 22 comprises a block 26 that is coupled to and extends from the annular wall 18 of the housing 14. The block 26 is coupled to the housing 14 proximate to the bottom 20. In one embodiment, the block 26 has a pair of edges 28 distal from the annular wall 18 that are rounded. A slot 30 is positioned in the block 26. The slot 30 is positioned in a top surface 32 of the block 26 and extends toward a lower end 34 of the block 26. The slot 30 is configured to selectively retain a respective packet 24. In one embodiment, the slot 30 has opposing ends 36 that are rounded.
The kit 10 comprises a plurality of sanitizing aids 38. The sanitizing aids 38 are selectively positionable in the housing 14 and the receptacle 22 such that the sanitizing aids 38 are available to a user to disinfect surfaces in a public bathroom. The plurality of sanitizing aids 38 comprises disinfectant wipes 40. The disinfectant wipes 40 comprise a respective packet 24. The disinfectant wipes 40 are positioned for retention in the receptacle 22 such that the disinfectant wipes 40 are available to the user to disinfect surfaces in the public bathroom.
The plurality of sanitizing aids 38 comprises hand wipes 42. The hand wipes 42 comprises a respective packet 24. The hand wipes 42 are positioned for retention in the receptacle 22 such that the hand wipes 42 are available to the user to cleanse of the user's hands in the public bathroom.
The plurality of sanitizing aids 38 comprises sanitizer 44. The sanitizer 44 is configured to spray from a respective spray bottle 16. The sanitizer 44 is positioned for retention in the housing 14 such that the sanitizer 44 is available to the user to disinfect surfaces in the public bathroom.
The kit 10 comprises a plurality of personal care items 46. The personal care items 46 are selectively positionable in the housing 14 and the receptacle 22 such that the personal care items 46 are available to the user to use in the public bathroom. The plurality of personal care items 46 comprises an air freshener 48. The air freshener 48 is configured to spray from a respective spray bottle 16. The air freshener 48 is positioned for retention in the housing 14 such that the air freshener 48 is available to the user to freshen the air of the public bathroom.
The plurality of personal care items 46 comprises a hand lotion 50. The hand lotion 50 is positioned for retention in the housing 14 such that the hand lotion 50 is available to the user to use in the public bathroom.
The plurality of personal care items 46 comprises a toilet seat cover 52. The toilet seat cover 52 comprises a respective packet 24. The toilet seat cover 52 is positioned for retention in the receptacle 22 such that the toilet seat cover 52 is available to the user to position on a toilet seat of the public bathroom.
In one embodiment, the kit 10 comprises a plurality of refill bottles 54. A respective refill bottle 54 is configured to store a respective sanitizing aid 38. A respective refill bottle 54 is configured to store a respective personal care item 46.
The kit 10 comprises a bag 56 that is configured to carry and selectively stow the holder 12, the sanitizing aids 38, and the personal care items 46. The bag 56 comprises a shell 58 that defines an internal space 60. The shell 58 has a top 62, which is open. The shell 58 is substantially rectangularly box shaped. A closure 64 is coupled to the shell 58 proximate to the top 62. The closure 64 is configured to reversibly close the top 62.
In one embodiment, the closure 64 comprises a zipper 66 that is coupled to the shell 58 adjacent to the top 62. The zipper 66 is positioned on the shell 58 and is configured for opening and closing of the shell 58. In another embodiment, the closure 64 comprises a flap 68, a first fastener 70 and a second fastener 72. The second fastener 72 is complementary to the first fastener 70. A first end 74 of the flap 68 is coupled to the shell 58 adjacent to the top 62. The first fastener 70 is coupled proximate to a second end 76 of the flap 68. The second fastener 72 is coupled to the shell 58. The flap 68 is positioned on the shell 58 such that the second fastener 72 is positioned to couple to the first fastener 70 to secure the flap 68 in a closed position over the top 62. The second fastener 72 also is positioned to decouple from the first fastener 70 to open the top 62. In yet another embodiment, the first fastener 70 and the second fastener 72 comprises a snap 78.
A plurality of dividers 80 that is coupled to a wall 82 of the shell 58 and positioned in the internal space 60 defines a plurality of pockets 84. The pockets 84 are positioned is the shell 58 such that the pockets 84 are positioned to stow the holder 12, the sanitizing aids 38, the personal care items 46 and the refill bottles 54. In one embodiment, the plurality of pockets 84 comprises from three to nine pockets 84. In another embodiment, the plurality of pockets 84 comprises from five to seven pockets 84.
In use, the pockets 84 of the bag 56 are positioned to stow the holder 12, the sanitizing aids 38, the personal care items 46 and the refill bottles 54. The holder 12, the sanitizing aids 38, the personal care items 46 and the refill bottles 54 are readily transportable by the user to the public bathroom. The holder 12 is positioned to selectively retain the sanitizing aids 38 and the personal care items 46 such that the sanitizing aids 38 and the personal care items 46 are readily accessible to the user in the public bathroom.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
