BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
(1) Field of the Invention

The disclosure relates to personal information communication systems and more particularly pertains to a new personal information communication system for nonverbally communicating relationship status and intention. The disclosure allows wearers to nonverbally identify and notify similarly aligned wearers.

(2) Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98

The prior art relates to personal information communication systems.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a plurality of rings. Each of the plurality of rings has an outer surface, an inner surface and a perimeter surface extending between the outer surface and the inner surface. Each of the outer surfaces is colored one of a plurality of colorations. Each of the plurality of colorations is different from each other and each of the colorations indicates its own relationship significance.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)

The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

FIG. 1 is an isometric view of a personal status communication system ring according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 3 is a side view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 4 is an in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new personal information communication system embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 4, the personal status communication system 10 generally comprises a plurality of rings 12. Each of the plurality of rings 12 has an outer surface 14, an inner surface 16 and a perimeter surface 18 extending between the outer surface 14 and the inner surface 16. Each of the rings 12 has indicia 20 positioned thereon. The indicia 20 is positioned on the outer surface 14. The indicia 20 is engraved into the outer surface 14. The plurality of rings 12 is made out of any material suitable for use, including metals, rigid materials such as wood, plastics and composites, flexible materials such as plastics, silicone, woven fibers and types of rubber, and any other conventional materials.

Each of the outer surfaces 14 is colored one of a plurality of colorations. The plurality of colorations is different from each other and each of the colorations indicates its own relationship significance. The relationship significances include religious seeking a relationship, non-religious and seeking a relationship, gay and seeking a relationship, not interested in any relationship, widowed and seeking a relationship, seeking nonserious relationships, seeking friendship only, single with kids and seeking a relationship, and has special needs. The colorations may be applied to the outer surface 14 or integral to the material used on the outer surface 14.

The plurality of colorations includes white, grey, a pattern of alternating colors, black, orange, red, yellow, green, and blue. Each of the plurality of colorations is linked to a one of the relationship significances to communicate the chosen information. The links in one disclosure of the invention include: religious seeking a relationship as indicated by white, non-religious and seeking a relationship as indicated by grey, gay and seeking a relationship as indicated by a pattern of alternating colors, not interested in any relationship as indicated by black, widowed and seeking a relationship as indicated by orange, seeking nonserious relationships as indicated by red, seeking friendship only as indicated by yellow, single with kids and seeking a relationship as indicated by green, having special needs as indicated by blue.

In use, a first wearer wears 22 a one of the plurality of rings 12 corresponding to a first wearer's relationship significance. A second wearer 24 wearing a one of the plurality of rings 12 corresponding to a second wearer's relationship significance. Either the first wearer 22 or second wearer 24 can interact or avoid the other based on the first wearer's relationship significance or the second wearer's relationship significance.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
