Claims
- 1. The method of treatment of bacterial infections of human beings, due to both Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens, which consists of orally administering to said human being a tablet or capsule containing 500-1000 mgs. of an association of a bacterial antibiotic which is cephalexin or pivcephalexin and a .beta.-ketoacid which is nalidixic acid in the ratio of 1:1.
- 2. A pharmaceutical composition endowed with an antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, which comprises as active ingredients an antibiotic which is cephalexin or pivcephalexin and a .beta.-ketoacid which is nalidixic acid in the ratio of 1:1 respectively by weight.
