Claims
- 1. A phenolepoxy resin prepared by reacting a polyphenol, epihalohydrin and an imidazole in a homogenous reaction medium, and selected from the group consisting of ##STR22##

- 9. The phenolepoxy resin according to claim 1 wherein said polyphenol and said epihalohydrin do not form a homogeneous solution in the absence of said imidazole.
- 10. The phenolepoxy resin according to claim 1 wherein said imidazole is added in such an amount so as to allow said polyphenol and said epihalohydrin to form a homogeneous phase.
- 11. A phenolepoxy resin which is selected from the group consisting of the following compounds:
- 12. The phenolepoxy resin according to claim 11 which is prepared by an aqueous-phase-free process.
- 13. The phenolepoxy resin according to claim 11 which is prepared by reacting polyphenol, epihalohydrin and imidazole in a homogeneous reaction medium free of an aqueous phase.
