The disclosure relates to phone holster device and more particularly pertains to a new phone holster device for securing by a belt loop and by a lanyard.
The prior art relates to phone holster devices. The prior art includes a variety of phone holster devices configured for securing a mobile device upon a user. Furthermore, the prior art relates to a variety of phone holster devices being secured proximate to a waist of the user. Known prior art lacks a phone holster device having a belt loop and a lanyard configured for securing to the user.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a holster including a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge. The holster has an inside surface and an outside surface, and further comprises a panel. The panel has the top edge, the bottom edge, a first surface, a second surface, and a pair of lateral edges. The panel is folded to define a first section and a second section wherein the pair lateral edges are adjacent to each other and define the first side edge and the first surface defining the inside surface. An interior is defined between the first and second sections of the first surface wherein the interior defines a space configured for receiving a mobile device and removably retaining the mobile device in a stored position. A belt loop is attached to the holster and extending above the top edge and is configured for receiving a belt therethrough. Furthermore, a closure is attached to the holster and is configured to retain the mobile device within the interior of the holster. A lanyard is extending through an aperture extending through the holster adjacent to the bottom edge and is configured for enwrapping a leg or a waist of the user wherein securing the holster to the user.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The bottom edge 16 of first 34 and second 36 sections abuts each other such that the bottom edge 16 of the holster 12 is closed. Alternately, the top edge 14 of the first 34 and second 36 sections is spaced from each other and defining an opening into the holster 12. The interior 38 of the holster 12 defines a space configured for receiving a mobile device 40 and removably retaining the mobile device 40 in a stored position. Furthermore, the panel 26 is comprised of leather 42. The leather 42 is configured for containing an engraving 44 such that the outside surface 24 of the holster 12 is visually appealing to a user 46.
Furthermore, a plurality of studs 48 extends through the panel 26 and the first 34 and second 36 sections adjacent to the first side edge 18. Each of the studs 48 is a metal bar having a pair of ends. Each of the ends comprises a head wherein the heads are positioned in the outside surface 24 of the holster 12 and retaining the panel 16 in a folded position.
A belt loop 50 is attached to the holster 12 and extending above the top edge 14. The belt loop 50 is configured for receiving a belt 52 therethrough. The belt loop 50 has a first end 54 positioned upon the inside surface 22 of the holster 12 and a second end 56 positioned upon the outside surface 24 of the holster 12. The first end 54 and the second end 56 of the belt loop 50 are coupled to the holster 12 by a swivel 58 facilitating rotation of the belt loop 50 relative to the holster 12.
A closure 60 is attached to the holster 12 and is configured to retain the mobile device 40 within the interior 38 of the holster 12. The closure 60 is positioned on the top edge 14 of the holster 12 and comprises a flexible member 62 having a fixed end 64 and a fastening end 66. The fixed end 64 is coupled to the holster 12 adjacent to the belt loop 50 and the fastening end 66 is removably attachable to the outside surface 24 opposite the belt loop 50 such that the flexible member 62 extends over the top edge 14. The fastening end 66 is removably attached to the holster 12 with a connector 68 comprising a snap. The snap of the connector 68 includes a male member and a female member being complementary to each other.
A lanyard 70 is extending through an aperture 72 extending through the holster 12 adjacent to the bottom edge 16. The lanyard 70 is knotted within the aperture 72 of the holster 12 wherein the lanyard 70 is secured to the holster 12. The lanyard 70 is configured for enwrapping a leg 74 or a waist 76 of the user 46 wherein securing the holster 12 to the user 46. Furthermore, the lanyard 70 is configured for being worn on a shoulder of the user 46.
In use, the user 46 inserts the belt 52 through the belt loop 50 of the holster 12 to secure the holster 12 to the waist 76. The user 46 can enwrap the lanyard 70 about the leg 74 for supplementary fastening of the holster 12 to the user 46. The holster 12 is tiltable relative to the waist 76 when the user 46 stands or sits. The user 46 secures the mobile device 40 within the interior 38 of the holster 12 by engaging the flexible member 62 of the closure 60 in a closed position.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure.
