Claims
- 1. A composition of phosphoric acid which comprises not less than about 99.98 percent by weight phosphoric acid with a tripolyphosphoric acid content greater than about 20 percent by weight a F/P.sub.2 O.sub.5 weight ratio in the range of 0.000120 to 0.000140 and a total metals/P.sub.2 O.sub.5 weight ratio in the range of 0.00060 to 0.00080.
- 2. A composition of phosphoric acid as in claim 1 wherein the P.sub.2 O.sub.5 content of the acid is about 80 percent by weight and the tripolyphosphoric acid content is about 22 percent by weight.
- 3. An acid composition comprised of phosphoric acid and phosphorous acid wherein the P.sub.2 O.sub.5 content is in the range of 45 to 60 percent by weight and the P.sub.2 O.sub.3 content is in the range of 2.5 to 3.5 percent by weight.
