Claims
- 1. An article having photocatalytic effect, comprising:a base material; and a photocatalytic film comprising fluorine-containing crystalline metallic oxide semiconductor, the photocatalytic film covering the base material.
- 2. The article according to claim 1, wherein the photocatalyst film has a thickness of 20-500 nm.
- 3. The article according to claim 1, wherein the article is in the form of film, flake powder, or fiber.
- 4. The article according to claim 1, wherein the photocatalyst film comprises titanium oxide.
- 5. The article according to claim 1, wherein the base material comprises an inorganic or metallic material in the form of sheet, film flake, particulate, powder, bar, fiber, woven cloth, or nonwoven cloth.
- 6. The article according to claim 1, wherein a fluorine-containing film is present between the base material and the photocatalyst film.
- 7. The article according to claim 6, wherein the photocatalytic film has a portion where fluorine concentration within the photocatalytic film gradually changes in the thickness direction.
- 8. The article according to claim 6, wherein the fluorine-containing film has an alkaline component shielding capability.
- 9. The article according to claim 6, wherein the fluorine-containing film has a thickness of 20-200 nm.
- 10. The article according to claim 6, wherein the fluorine-containing film is a fluorine-containing silica film.
- 11. The article according to claim 1, wherein an alkaline shielding film, which shields diffusion of alkaline composition, is present between the base material and the photocatalyst film.
- 12. The article according to claim 11, wherein the alkaline shielding film has a thickness of 20-200 nm.
- 13. The article according to claim 11, wherein the alkaline shielding film contains fluorine in the amount of 0.1-20 percentage by atom.
- 14. The article according to claim 11, wherein the alkaline shielding film comprises silica.
- 15. The article according to claim 1, wherein the photocatalyst film comprises titanium oxide.
- 16. The article according to claim 1, wherein the photocatalyst film has a thickness of 5 nm to 2 μm.
- 17. The article according to claim 5, wherein the base material comprises glass fibers of soda-lime silicate glass.
- 18. The article according to claim 5 or 17, wherein the fiber have an average diameter of 0.20 to 5 μm, a thickness of 0.1-2 mm, and an air-flow resistance expressed by 3-50 mmH2O at a air-flow speed of 320 cm/min.
- 19. The article according to claim 1, wherein the base material is a light transmitting, alkaline-containing glass material.
- 20. The article according to claim 1, wherein the photocatalytic film comprises anatase-type titanium oxide.
- 21. An article having photocatalytic effect, comprising:a base material; a photocatalytic film comprising fluorine-containing metallic oxide semiconductor, the photocatalytic film covering the base material; and a fluorine-containing film which is present between the base material and photocatalytic film.
- 22. The article according to claim 21, wherein the photocatalytic film has a portion where fluorine concentration within the photocatalytic film gradually changes in the thickness direction.
- 23. The article according to claim 21, wherein the fluorine-containing film has an alkaline component shielding capability.
- 24. The article according to claim 21, wherein the fluorine-containing film has a thickness of 20-200 nm.
- 25. The article according to claim 21, wherein the fluorine-containing film is a fluorine-containing silica film.
- 26. The article according to claim 21, wherein an alkaline shielding film, which shields the diffusion of alkaline composition, is present between the base material and the photocatalytic film.
- 27. The article according to claim 26, wherein the alkaline shielding film has a thickness of 20-200 nm.
