Claims
- 1. A photographic camera, comprising:
- an attaching portion adapted for detachably attaching an IC card including semiconductor memory means capable of reading-out/writing-in, a circuit for communication with peripherals and a data exchange terminal for communication;
- communication means for bidirectionally communicating data with said IC card; and
- a microcomputer for carrying out camera operations based on data input from said IC card.
- 2. A photographic camera, as defined in claim 1, wherein said camera control means, includes:
- means for judging through a data exchange whether or not said IC card is attached, and
- means for selectively changing the camera operations depending on whether or not said IC card is judged to be attached.
- 3. A photographic camera, as defined in claim 1, wherein said camera control means based on data from said attached IC card carries out a display to indicate attachment of said IC card.
- 4. A photographic camera, as defined in claim 1, further comprising:
- means for outputting information obtained at a time of photographing, the information outputting means being operatively connected to the communication means;
- wherein said communication means communicates said information from said outputting means to said attaching portion where said IC card is attached each time the photography takes place by one frame, and said information is stored in said IC card.
- 5. In a photographic camera having a first microcomputer, an IC card comprising:
- a housing detachably mounted at the camera;
- a second microcomputer disposed within the housing;
- a semiconductor memory disposed within the housing and operatively connected to said second microcomputer; and
- a plurality of terminals disposed on the housing and operatively connected to the second microcomputer and the memory,
- wherein the terminals bidirectionally conduct a plurality of signals between the first and second microcomputers.
- 6. An IC card of claim 5, wherein the housing is plastic and the semiconductor memory is an EEPROM.
- 7. An IC card of claim 5, wherein the second microcomputer directs an operation of the first microcomputer.
- 8. An IC card of claim 5, wherein the plurality of terminals bidirectionally conduct a plurality of signals between the second microcomputer and another computer.
- 9. A photographic camera comprising:
- a microcomputer for controlling the camera;
- an attaching portion for detachably attaching an IC card including a semiconductor memory capable of reading and writing, a circuit for communicating with peripherals and a terminal through which data is transmitted between the circuit and the peripherals; and
- means for bidirectionally transmitting data between said microcomputer and said circuit included in said IC card, wherein said microcomputer is capable of controlling said camera on the basis of data transmitted from said IC card.
- 10. A photographic camera as claimed in claim 9, wherein said microcomputer includes:
- means for determining through data communication whether or not said IC card is attached; and
- means for selectively changing the operation of said microcomputer depending on the determination made by said determining means.
- 11. A photographic camera as claimed in claim 9, wherein said microcomputer includes means for displaying, on the basis of data transmitted from said IC card, that said IC card is attached.
- 12. A photographic camera as claimed in claim 9, further comprising:
- means for outputting information obtained at a time of photographing, said outputting means being operatively connected to said transmitting means,
- wherein said transmitting means transmits the information from said outputting means to said IC card through said attaching portion each time a frame of photography takes place, and the information is stored in said IC card.
