Claims
- 1. Image recording apparatus, comprising:means for converting an object image into an image signal; means for recording a signal, based on the image signal, as a picture unit on a recording medium that has a predetermined recordable capacity; operation member for generating a driving signal that is for said converting means and said recording means based on a given manual operation by a user; first control means for controlling said converting means and said recording means so that said recording means records the signal, based on the image signal, as a picture unit in accordance with the driving signal generated by said operation member; and second control means for controlling a power consumption of said converting means regardless of a given manual operation of said operation member after said recording means records the signal to be recorded on all of the predetermined recordable capacity of the recording medium substantially.
- 2. An image recording apparatus, comprising:(A) pickup means for converting an image of an object into a picture image; (B) recording means for recording the picture image thus converted by the pickup on a memory having a predetermined memory capacity for each one picture plane; (C) a single operation member for generating an operation instruction to the recording means and the pickup means; (D) first control means for controlling the recording means and the pickup means so as to record the picture image from the pickup means on the memory every one picture plane according to the operation of the operation member; and (E) second control means for stopping the recording operation of the recording means after substantially all memory capacity of the memory for the picture image has been used by the recording of the picture image from the pickup means, and controlling the pickup means so as to reduce power consumption thereof despite a new operation of the operation member.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said memory is a movable memory.
