The present invention relates to a pillow suitable for side sleeping.
It is known that side sleeping is beneficial in many ways, like more easily to prevent the mouth from opening during sleeping, preventing the root of the tongue from sagging into the airway, and reducing snoring. Sleeping particularly on a right side can also prevent increased workload of the heart. It is an object of the present invention to provide a pillow that is suitable for side sleeping.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a pillow suitable for side sleeping to achieve the beneficial effects mentioned in the background. To achieve the object of the present invention, the present invention provides the following technical solutions:
A pillow suitable for side sleeping, comprising a pillow body and a position limiting bar; one end portion of the position limiting bar is connected with one side surface of the pillow body.
Further, said one end portion of the position limiting bar is removably connected with said one side surface of the pillow body.
Further, said one end portion of the position limiting bar is removably connected with said one side surface of the pillow body by a hook and loop fastener.
Further, a groove is provided on a top surface of the pillow body.
Further, one surface of the position limiting bar is shaped as a curved surface.
The present invention has the following beneficial effects: According to the present invention, the position limiting bar abuts against a back of the sleeper during a side sleeping posture of the sleeper to prevent the sleeper from flipping backward so as to maintain the side sleeping posture. The present invention is suitable for sleepers who may easily snore if they sleep on their back.
In order to explain the technical solutions of the present invention in greater details, the drawings necessary for describing an embodiment of the present invention will be briefly introduced below. Obviously, the drawings mentioned below are only illustrative of one of many possible embodiments of the present invention. Other drawings are conceivable by a person skilled in the art based on the drawings disclosed herein given that no additional inventive effort is required.

According to the present invention, the position limiting bar 2 abuts against a back of the sleeper during a side sleeping posture of the sleeper to prevent the sleeper from flipping backward so as to maintain the side sleeping posture. The present invention is suitable for sleepers who may easily snore if they sleep on their back.
Preferably, said one end portion of the position limiting bar 2 is removably connected with said one side surface of the pillow body 1. Preferably, a groove 11 is provided on a top surface of the pillow body 1 to improve ventilation and to prevent discomfort due to pressure of the pillow body 1 against an ear of the sleeper during sleep.
Preferably, one surface of the position limiting bar 2 is shaped as a curved surface 22. The curved surface allows comfortable placing of a sleeper's elbow during sleep.
