Claims
- 1. A co-oligomer containing recurring units of the formulae (Ia) and (Ib) ##STR35## which has a number average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 20,000 and a (Ia):(Ib) ratio of from 4:1 to 1:4, and in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.5 which can be identical or different are a group --OR.sub.6, --SR.sub.6 or ##STR36## in which R.sub.6 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.12 cycloalkyl unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; C.sub.3 -C.sub.18 alkenyl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 phenylalkyl unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted on the phenyl by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; phenyl which is unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy; or a group of the formula (II) ##STR37## in which R.sub.9 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl, O., OH, NO, CH.sub.2 CN, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkoxy, C.sub.5 -C.sub.12 cycloalkoxy, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 phenylalkyl unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted on the phenyl by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; or C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 acyl, and R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 which can be identical or different are as defined above for R.sub.6 or are C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkyl substituted in the 2-, 3- or 4-position by C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkoxy or by di-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl)-amino; or ##STR38## is a 5-membered to 7-membered heterocyclic group, and R.sub.5 is 4-morpholinyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.12 cycloalkyl unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 phenylalkyl unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted on the phenyl by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; or a group of the formula (III) ##STR39## R.sub.4 being as defined for R.sub.9, R.sub.3 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.12 alkylene, C.sub.4 -C.sub.12 alkylene interrupted by 1, 2 or 3 oxygen atoms or by 1 or 2>N--R.sub.10 groups with R.sub.10 being as defined above for R.sub.2 ; cyclohexylene, cyclohexylenedimethylene, methylenedicyclohexylene, isopropylidenedicyclohexylene or xylylene, and X is one of the groups of the formulae (IVa)-(IVc) ##STR40## in which R.sub.11 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl, R.sub.12 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkylene, n is zero or 1, R.sub.13 is as defined for R.sub.7 and R.sub.8, and R.sub.14 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkylene or C.sub.4 -C.sub.12 alkylene interrupted by 1, 2 or 3 oxygen atoms.
- 2. A co-oligomer containing recurring units of the formulae (Ia) and (Ib) according to claim 1, in which R.sub.4 and R.sub.9 which can be identical or different are hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, OH, C.sub.6 -C.sub.12 alkoxy, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 cycloalkoxy, allyl, benzyl or acetyl.
- 3. A co-oligomer containing recurring units of the formulae (Ia) and (Ib) according to claim 1, which has a number average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 15,000 and a (Ia):(Ib) ratio of from 4:1 to 1:4, and in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.5 which can be identical or different are a group --OR.sub.6, --SR.sub.6 or ##STR41## R.sub.6 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.14 alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; C.sub.3 -C.sub.12 alkenyl, benzyl, phenyl or a group of the formula (II), R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 which can be identical or different are as defined above for R.sub.6 or are hydrogen or C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 alkyl substituted in the 2- or 3-position by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy or by di-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl)-amino; or R.sub.1 as ##STR42## is 1-pyrrolidyl, 1-piperidyl, 4-morpholinyl, 4-methyl-1-piperazinyl or 1-hexahydroazepinyl, and R.sub.5 is 4-morpholinyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 cycloalkyl unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; benzyl or a group of the formula (III), R.sub.3 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.10 alkylene, C.sub.4 -C.sub.10 alkylene interrupted by 1, 2 or 3 oxygen atoms or by 1 or 2>N--CH.sub.3 groups; cyclohexylene, cyclohexylenedimethylene, methylenedicyclohexylene, isopropylidenedicyclohexylene or xylylene, and X is one of the groups of the formulae (IVa)-(IVc) in which R.sub.11 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sub.12 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkylene, n is zero or 1, R.sub.13 is as defined for R.sub.7 and R.sub.8, and R.sub.14 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkylene or C.sub.4 -C.sub.10 alkylene interrupted by 1, 2 or 3 oxygen atoms.
- 4. A co-oligomer containing recurring units of the formulae (Ia) and (Ib) according to claim 1, which has a number average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 10,000 and a (Ia):(Ib) ratio of from 3:1 to 1:3, and in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.5 which can be identical or different are a group --OR.sub.6, --SR.sub.6 or ##STR43## R.sub.6 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, cyclohexyl which is unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; allyl, undecenyl, benzyl, phenyl or a group of the formula (II), R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 which can be identical or different are as defined for R.sub.6 or are hydrogen or C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 alkyl substituted in the 2- or 3-position by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, by dimethylamino or by diethylamino; or the group ##STR44## is 4-morpholinyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl, cyclohexyl which is unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl; benzyl or a group of the formula (III), R.sub.3 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 alkylene, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 alkylene interrupted by 2 or 3 oxygen atoms; cyclohexylenedimethylene, methylenedicyclohexylene or xylylene, and X is one of the groups of the formulae (IVa)-(IVc) in which R.sub.11 is hydrogen or methyl, R.sub.12 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkylene, n is zero or 1, R.sub.13 is as defined for R.sub.7 and R.sub.8, and R.sub.14 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkylene or C.sub.4 -C.sub.8 alkylene interrupted by 1 or 2 oxygen atoms.
- 5. A co-oligomer containing recurring units of the formulae (Ia) and (Ib) according to claim 1, which has a number average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 8,000 and a (Ia):(Ib) ratio of from 2:1 to 1:2, and in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.5 which can be identical or different are a group --OR.sub.6 or ##STR45## R.sub.6 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl, cyclohexyl, allyl, benzyl, phenyl or a group of the formula (II), R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 which can be identical or different are as defined above for R.sub.6 or are hydrogen or C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 alkyl substituted in the 2- or 3-position by methoxy, by ethoxy, by dimethylamino or by diethylamino; or the group ##STR46## is 4-morpholinyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, cyclohexyl or a group of the formula (III), R.sub.3 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkylene, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 alkylene interrupted by 2 or 3 oxygen atoms; cyclohexylenedimethylene, methylenedicyclohexylene or xylylene, and X is one of the groups of the formulae (IVa)-(IVc) in which R.sub.11 is hydrogen or methyl, R.sub.12 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 alkylene, n is zero or 1, R.sub.13 is as defined for R.sub.7 and R.sub.8, and R.sub.14 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkylene or C.sub.4 -C.sub.8 alkylene interrupted by 1 or 2 oxygen atoms.
- 6. A co-oligomer containing recurring units of the formulae (Ia) and (Ib) according to claim 1, which has a number average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 5,000 and a (Ia):(Ib) ratio of from 2:1 to 1:1, and in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.5 are a group --OR.sub.6 or ##STR47## R.sub.6 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl or 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl, R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 which can be identical or different are C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl, cyclohexyl, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl or 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl, or R.sub.7 can also be hydrogen, or the group ##STR48## is 4-morpholinyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen, methyl, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl or 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl, R.sub.3 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkylene or C.sub.8 -C.sub.10 alkylene interrupted by 2 or 3 oxygen atoms, R.sub.4 is hydrogen or methyl and X is one of the groups of the formulae (IVa)-(IVc) in which R.sub.11 is hydrogen, R.sub.12 is ethylene, n is zero or 1, R.sub.13 is as defined for R.sub.7 and R.sub.8, and R.sub.14 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 alkylene or C.sub.4 -C.sub.6 alkylene interrupted by one oxygen atom.
- 7. A co-oligomer containing recurring units of the formulae (Ia) and (Ib) according to claim 1, which has a (Ia):(Ib) ratio of 1:1 and a regular alternation of the recurring units (Ia) and (Ib) characterized in that the co-oligomer contains recurring units of the formula (Ic) ##STR49## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.5 are identical.
- 8. A co-oligomer according to claim 7, which has a number average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 5,000 and in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.5 are N-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)-n-butylamino, R.sub.2 is 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl, R.sub.3 is hexamethylene, R.sub.4 is hydrogen and X is a group ##STR50##
