Claims
- 1. A plant growth promoter composition comprising synergistically effective amounts of a mixture of, a jasmonic acid derivative represented by the following formula: wherein R1 represents a pentyl group or a pentenyl group and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and a brassinosteriod.
- 2. A plant growth promoter according to claim 1, wherein the brassinosteroid is brassinolide.
- 3. A plant growth promoter according to claim 1, wherein the brassinosteroid is epibrassinol ide.
- 4. A plant growth promoter according to claim 1, wherein the brassinosteroid is homobrassinolide.
- 5. A plant growth promoter according to claim 1, wherein the concentration of brassinosteroid in plant growth promoter is 0.0001-0.05 ppm.
- 6. A plant growth promoter according to claim 1, which is used by spraying or coating said promoter on a plant in the growth and development stage or by dipping seeds of a plant in said promoter.
- 7. A plant growth promoter according to claim 1, which is used to a root vegetable, a potato (a tuber crop), a cereal, a fruit vegetable, a fruit tree, a flower or an ornamental plant, or an industrial crop.
- 8. A plant growth promoter according to claim 1, which promotes the growth of the leaves, stems, roots, tubers, rhizomes or fruits of a plant, or the differentiation of the flower buds of a plant.
- 9. A plant growth promoter composition comprising synergistically effective growth promoting amount of 0.01 to 500 ppm of a jasmonic acid compound represented by the following formula: wherein R1 represents a pentyl group and R2 represents an alkyl group of 3 to 4 carbon atoms, an effective amount of a brassinosteriod and a carrier.
