This invention is related to a playing table, including a pool table that incorporates a dancing pole for one or more persons or things to dance over the playing table. In particular, this invention relates to a pool table comprising a support mechanism including a dancing pole where an exotic dancer may perform over the pool table while one or more persons play pool.
The present invention discloses a playing table, such as a pool table, billiard table, poker table, roulette table, etc., comprising a pole, capable of being danced on or around by a dancer, coupled with the playing table. In an effort to make playing tables more enticing and interesting, a playing table is disclosed that provides for a mechanism where one or more individuals or things may perform acts such as dancing while the players play on the playing table. The purpose of this invention is to entertain pool or billiards players with a dancer using a dancer's pole during the activity of their game. The invention may be utilized in bars, clubs, homes, or any other venue where pool or billiards and dancers are located.
In one aspect, a playing table is disclosed which includes a mechanism that is attached with the playing table and which is capable of being danced on by one or more dancers. In another aspect, a playing system is disclosed which comprises a playing table and a mechanism disposed vertically above the playing table, wherein the mechanism is capable of being danced on by one or more dancers. In another aspect, a method of playing is disclosed by providing a playing table and a mechanism disposed vertically above the playing table wherein said mechanism is capable of being danced on by one or more dancers.

The present patent application is a formalization of a previously filed, co-pending provisional patent application entitled “PLAYING TABLE WITH DANCING POLE,” filed Feb. 13, 2009, as U.S. patent application Ser. No. 61/207,636 by the inventor(s) named in this application. This patent application claims the benefit of the filing date of the cited provisional patent application according to the statutes and rules governing provisional patent applications, particularly 35 USC §119 and 37 CFR §1.78. The specification and drawings of the cited provisional patent application are specifically incorporated herein by reference. The present patent application is further a continuation-in-part of a co-pending non-provisional patent application entitled “CIRCULAR POOL TABLE ACCORDING TO BILLIARD CONGRESS OF AMERICA AND/OR WORLD POOL-BILLIARD ASSOCIATION,” filed Aug. 31, 2006, as U.S. patent application Ser. No. 11/514,586 by one or more common inventor(s). This patent application also claims the benefit of the filing date of the cited non-provisional patent application according to the statutes and rules governing non-provisional patent applications, particularly 35 USC §120 and 37 CFR §1.78.
