Claims
- 1. A system for the display and dispensing of cosmetics comprising:
at least two or more modular components forming said system, wherein one of said components comprises a housing having a point of sale automated cosmetic dispensing system and another of said components comprises a work station; wherein said modular components adjoin each other and each include an outer wall portion, an inner wall portion and upper surface bridging said outer wall portion with said inner wall portion, said component for said housing have said upper surface disposed higher than said upper surface of said work station.
- 2. The system of claim 1, wherein said upper surface of said housing further comprises a gradual reduction in height from said higher wall portion along said upper surface to form a continuous curve.
- 3. The system of claim 1, wherein said upper surface of said housing further comprises a plurality of steps forming a reduction in height from said higher wall portion along said upper surface to form a stepped curve.
- 4. The system of claim 1, wherein said upper surfaces of said housing and said workstation comprise a parabolic shaped form.
- 5. The system of claim 4, wherein said parabolic shaped form further comprises a gradual and continuous reduction in height of said upper surfaces from said housing to said work station.
- 6. The system of claim 4, wherein said housing also includes a computer for direct interaction with a retail customer.
- 7. The system of claim 4, wherein said dispensing system includes a syringe dispenser.
- 8. The system of claim 4, further comprising a booth disposed between said outer wall portion and said inner wall portion
- 9. The system of claim 4, wherein at least one of said upper surfaces includes openings.
- 10. A system for the display and dispensing of cosmetics comprising:
a self-contained parabolic configured structure including a plurality of systems integrated within said structure and comprising:
a point of sale cosmetic dispensing system; a computer for operating said system and interacting with a customer; and a user interface associated said computer for permitting a user including a visual information input device for capturing an image of said user and transporting information about said image to said computer.
- 11. The system of claim 10, wherein said self-contained parabolic configured structure is formed with two ends defining an opening and having an outer wall and an inner wall and including an upper surface bridging said outer and inner walls for supporting said plurality of integrated systems.
- 12. The system of claim 10, wherein said inner and outer walls slope downwardly from a high point at one of said ends of said parabola to a low point at the other of said ends of said parabola.
- 13. The system of claim 10, wherein said integrated system includes a booth proximate said high point of said parabola and a work station proximate said low point of said parabola.
- 14. The system of claim 10, wherein said integrated system includes an application station for applying a dispensed cosmetic to a retailer customer.
- 15. The system of claim 10, further comprising a free standing table.
- 16. The system of claim 10, wherein said cosmetic dispensing system is housed behind an at least partially transparent panel.
- 17. The system of claim 10, wherein said structure further comprises seating projecting therefrom.
- 18. A system for the display and dispensing of nail polish, comprising:
a self-contained parabolic-configured structure including a plurality of systems integrated within said structure and comprising:
a point of sale nail polish dispensing system; a computer operating said system including interaction with a customer, in controlling communication with said dispensing system and dispensing of said cosmetics; a plurality of display shelves; and at least one work station.
- 19. The system of claim 18, wherein the parabolic-configured structure has a varying height.
- 20. The system of claim 19, wherein the height of an upper surface of said parabolic-configured structure is higher in a portion that houses said nail polish dispensing system than an upper surface of said work station.
