Abstract
A poly night light which made of Un-saturated Polyester resin (UPR) compound to make the said night light with certain degree of softness and clearance to meet with quality testaments. The said poly night light has clipper means to allow the said display unit can fit into the lamp holder's connector for solid installation. The said lamp holder has desired light means may select from group combination from incandescent bulb, neon bulb, LED(s), Organic Electro-luminescent element(s), or conventional light means. The said poly display unit has 3 dimensional design, shape, curvature, configuration for eye-catching value appearance with dedicated painting process by hand or spray to make it elegant than any other market night light.
Description
BACKGROUND

The current invention disclosure the very pretty hand-made display unit made of pouring plastic material into tooling to get the 3 dimensional lens which can not made by the conventional plastic injection process.


The current invention disclosure adapt a special compound of Polyester (hereafter as poly) material to make the poly become durable and can pass the strict drop testament.


The current invention disclosure adapt a very fine hand painting the said poly lens to make the colorful and dedicated and value appearance of said display unit.


The current invention disclosure adapt a special process to add the clipper within the poly material to allow the poly display unit can fit into the incandescent base, light Emit Diode (hereafter as LED) base, or other light means base without any break, loosen, melt problem will occur during a long time turn on the light means.


The current invention disclosure may incorporated variety of light means may selected from group combination from incandescent, Light Emit Diode (hereafter as LED) incorporated with light-medium, fiber optics, filter optic fiber, filter(s), stencil(s), cut-out(s), window(s), overlay, underlay, masking(s), lens, inks, painting, glue, or any related optic kits which can allow the visible light beams been seen under expected image to make the desired light effects.


The current invention disclosure the special chemical compound to add into the Un-saturated polyester resin (Hereafter as UPR) to make the Poly display unit with certain degree of the softness to against any impact strength from drop test, kick, pulling, pushing and potential damage from environment.


The all these features from current invention can make a durable quality poly display unit which different with other conventional poly item which is brittle and fragile which can not pass the drop test from 6 feets or higher. Also, the clipper means within the poly display unit which is most durable than the marketing items which use glue to glue the two different material which is very difficult. The variety light means lamp holder fit for different light means with proper design with details description below is other features for current invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

From FIG. 4, The prior art of poly display unit (40) has the inner level (41) which have the certain thickness and all prior arts use the glue, chemical solvent on the clipper mean's surface (43) to fix the clipper means (44) on the edge of the poly display area (42). However, the clipper means need to be very rigid, durable so can overcome the environment impact strength, so the material preferable to use the Polycarbonate (hereafter as PC) or will be very easily break while twisted the display unit at any time. It is very difficult to glue the PC and Poly material together and can pass the related bending, torque weight testament so the prior art is very weak for quality.


From FIG. 5, The other prior art use the “Reverse T” shape connector (51) to glue the connector's contour (54) to the below of the area (55). The clipper means as (52) which can hold the lamp holder's neck. However, The clipper-means still need PC so can have enough durable quality. Hence, this prior art still is bad because difficult to use glue or solvent to fix the clipper means on the bottom. This is more badly prior art's embodiment because all weight of the lamp holder will fall to clipper means.


From FIG. 2, The current invention to make the clipper means with extension parts (29) which are sealed within the poly display unit (24). The extension parts (29) can make very rough surface with some raised teeth (29′) so it will not able to pull out easily. The material of the clipper means will be Polycarbonate because it is the most durable material. The alternative to use metal piece or other still fall within the scope of current invention. The clipper means material can be selected from group combination from the plastic, metal, wood, pottery, porcelain.


From FIG. 2-1, Disclosure the Poly pouring process with its certain softness and flexible properties so it can do some designs (21c) (21d) 921e) which never happen for plastic injection process. If did similar products (21c) (21d) (21e) from the plastic injection machine, the tooling will need a lot of slide parts so the tooling will be very expensive to invest this. The plastic injection process only can do such as (21a) or (21b) which the female tooling can easily move and separate from male tooling easily without block while separate the both tooling. However, It is almost impossible to use the injection tooling to get the (21c) (21d) (21e) because there has a lot or big block of material will stop the male and female tooling to separate after injection.


The current invention for a poly nigh light which is different with market place poly night light because the current invention have durable quality including the poly display unit can pass the drop testament at least 6 feet or higher without any packing material wrapped it. The special compound for the current invention is not only use the un-saturated polyester resin (UPR) but also may have the chemical including:


Maleic Anhydride, propylene Glycol, Ethylene Glycol, Diethylene Glycol, Styrene Monomer with other special chemical may select from CaCo2, H2O2, Co, Dop, or other content to make the said poly display with certain degree of softness to allow its have some cushion properties to against the environment impact strength apply the display unit. The UPR compound can pour into tooling to make the said display unit with desired design, configuration, and shape. The UPR compound has some chemical material added within to make the desired softness, clearance, thickness, curing time, durable quality to meet market requirement. UPR compound has variety additional chemical added within to get desired function, properties, quality to meet the market requirement.


From FIG. 1, The Poly display unit (1) has desired shape, configuration, thickness, transparency and its surface has the desired color, painting, image, design, arts to let people feel it is elegant with its value appearance. From FIG. 1, the Poly display unit (1) has a inner area (11) which has a certain thickness to allow the extension part (12) of the clipper means (2) can be fit within and sealed by poly material, so the said extension part can be sealed very solid without any movement, fall apart, peel off, separate from the poly display unit. The clipper means need to be very durable so can against all kind of impact strength including pulling, pushing, kick, twist, bending so the clipper means (2) preferable the Polycarbonate (hereafter as PC) so it will have the best durable plastic material. The alternative material such as metal piece or pottery, porcelain, wood or any other material available from market place still fall within the scope of the current invention. The clipper means has two arms (2′) (2′) which has inner shape as a “U” shape to fit into the connector's neck (3) for very tight but can be rotating to desired angle as wish. The connector (3) is part of the lamp holder (9) which offers the space to allow the clipper mean's arms (2) (2′) to fit. The lamp holder (9) has a space to allow the light means (8) to install and get the illumination while the prong means (5) connect with the power source (not shown) while the control means (6) is connected. The prong means (9) can be fix on the lamp holder or be swivel type. The control means may select from group combination from the switch, photo sensor, motion sensor, PIR sensor, other sensor means, timer, or equivalent control means to make the circuit change “open” and “close” condition may fall within the scope of current invention. The lamp holder has the connector to allow the said clipper means can fix on the said lamp holder tightly and solid.


From the FIG. 1, the Poly display unit (1) has a lot of designs, art, painting, colors on its surface for value appearance (not shown). The said display unit also may has plurality of window(s), cut-out(s), and opening(s) to allow the fiber optics string can be install and allow the light beam to be seen by viewer. This is can add the features for the light effects. The poly display unit can be applied the hand painting for colors. The poly display unit can be applied the sprayer for color painting process. The poly display unit which has certain degree of the softness to allow the said display unit can against impact strength for more durable quality. The poly night light can pass the requirement for the testament including drop test, continuously on test, accumulate temperature testament, pulling test, oven test and related testament which required from market place.


From FIG. 3, It can be easily to understand the Poly night light features as current invention to use certain degree of softness material to overcome the environment impact strength. It also can make very pretty and outstanding 3 dimensional designs such as Lotus flower and leaves on FIG. 3. The flower has plurality curved and big curvature piece (from c to n). It also can see the piece (a) (b) and dragonfly's wing (p) (Q). All these pieces can not make by the conventional injection process. It also all the poly display unit (32) use the hand painting to make very details of the colors and dedicated art on its surface. No need the light turn on, It already a nice and elegant art present to the consumers. The poly display unit has two curvature (31) (31′) also can not get from traditional plastic injection because its curvature way over the limitation of injection process.


From FIG. 1, The lamp holder (9) may has different designs and configuration and standard to fit the incandescent bulb, neon bulb, LED(s), Organic Electro-luminescent element(s) or the preferable combination of said light means. From FIG. 1, the lamp holder (9) has the prong mean (5), control means (6), housing (4) (4′), connector means (3) and lamp base receptacle (8″) to receive the bulb base (8′). The bulb (8) is light means for the display unit (1) for incandescent light application. The poly display unit (1) with plurality of window(s), cut-out(s), and opening(s) to allow the light beam can be seen by viewer. The said functions which may incorporate with other optics kits which may selected from group combination from optic fiber, filter(s), stencil(s), cut-out(s), window(s), overlay, underlay, masking(s), lens, inks, painting, glue, or any related optic kits which can allow the visible light beams been seen under expected image.


From FIG. 6, The lamp holder (61) including sealed-unit (61′) which contain all the said LED related parts, circuit (63), PCB (61″), control means (not shown), prong means (62) sealed within the strict anti-flammable plastic case (61′) with the said lamp holder (62). This is for the LED light means with lamp holder (62) with sealed-unit (61′) to supply the power source (not shown) though the sealed-unit (61′) to make the plurality of LED (64) (64′) for two directions illumination which is under co-pending U.S. patent filing 11/255,981 night light with 2 light source. The one or more than 1 LED for offer the brightness to the fiber optics bundle (68) though a adaptor (66) which one end to allow fiber optics bundle to fit into tightly and the other end is allow the said LED(s) can fit into tightly to let all light beams can has majority get into adaptor and pass though the adaptor into the fiber optics bundle so can turn all the fiber optics string (6a to 6 L) for illumination. The said all fiber optics strings (6a to 6L) are well installed on the poly display unit (60) surface's opening(s), window(s) or cut-out(s). The poly display unit (60) with plurality of window(s), cut-out(s), opening(s) to allow the fiber optics string can be install and allow the light beam to be seen by viewer.


From the FIG. 7, can see the connector is removable type. The connector (76) has the central channel (73) to allow the said fiber optics bundle (not shown) to pass though from top to bottom to connect with the inner adaptor (not shown) to get the LED(s) light beams. The connector has the neck (74) to receive the clipper means (not shown). The connector's base (75) has certain length to allow the connector to fix on the LED lamp holder (70) tightly. The lamp holder (70) has the more than one of opening, window, cut-out to allow install the more than one light source, sensor means, control means, or other control device from conventional market place.


From FIG. 8, disclosure the light means can be install on the Poly display unit (80) while the poly display unit (80) have the property of the light-medium which can allow the light travel within the poly material and the light be seen on the light-medium surface. The groove(s), hole(s), window(s) are proper arranged on bottom of the poly display unit (80). Here is not prefer to use the Hole(s), opening(s), or cut-out(s) for this application because can be seen on front side. This preferable embodiment may incorporat with sealed-unit so it will be very simple and economic on cost.


From FIG. S, disclosure the sealed-unit (S2) (S12) (S22) with pre-designed opening (S2′) (S12′) (S22′) to allow the universal type of the sealed-unit (S2) (S12) (S22) can fit into the opening (S2′) (S12′) (S22′) which can use the conventional market method to fasten with the base (S1) (S10) (S20) which may assemble with the said night light by screw (S23) (S24), welding, sonic sealing, glue, solvent, rivet, catcher, or equivalent fix-means skill from the convention market to allow the sealed-unit be fix on position. The sealed-unit (S2) (S12) (S22) preferable to use the plastic with certain thickness to pass the 94-V-0 flammable grade to meet the safety standard and all other housing part(S1) (S10) (S20) without any limitation because without touching the live wires. The base (S1) (S10) (S20) can be any shape, configuration, design, curvature, thickness, material, dimension with build-in or separated receptacle means. The sealed-unit has LED related circuit, control means, prong means disposed within, this can design for super slim and wider unit or thicker for small unit which depend on the market requirement. For convenience, It also can make a desired unit which can fit into different base shape such as boat shape (S1), tube shape (S10), Rectangular shape (S20) for different night light application.


The Boat Base (S1) has opening (S2′) to allow the sealed-unit (S2) can fit into the space. The sealed-unit (S2) has the LED related circuit (S8) and its components (S9) and prong means (S7) (S7′) are sealed within the case (S2). The top of the case have two LEDs (S3) (S4) which are connected with the inner circuit (S8) but all the LEDs' electric legs can not be touched by test equipment to make sure the kid finger will not touch these live wires to cause dangerous condition. The LED (S5) can be use the conductive wires (S6) to pull to far away the unit's housing (S2) for other illumination arrangement.


The LEDs (S3) (S4) also fit into the base opening (S3′) (S4′) and a wall (S2″) will cover the LEDs after the assembly with base housing. After the assembly, The LED light beams can be passing though the base's opening area (S) to make the good light effects to the upper display unit.


From the tube base (S10) has the opening (S12′) to allow the sealed-unit (S12) to fit into with two or more LED on desired position and orientation and wiring arrangement so can allow the light beams emit out from the base top opening (S18) and lower window (S18′) for desired illumination.


From the Rectangular base (S20), This is special for the Surface light arrangement. The LED spot light beams though a light-medium (S28) to allow the LED light beam to travel within the light-medium (S28) and majority of light beam to be seen by viewer from light-medium (S28) surface. It will not see any hot spot of LED light brightness but see a very soft and even photometric area light for special illumination. From the Rectangular base (S20) has opening (S22′) to allow the sealed-unit (S22) can be fit into tightly with glue or solvent of other adhesive means, sonic means, welding means, catcher means, or hook means to assembly with rectangular house (S20). The LED will fit into the light-medium's thickness to get the best result.


It is appreciated that all the above discussed description, embodiment, prior art, co-inventor's disclosure is not limited to these discussion. Any of the equivalent function, replacement, alternative process, treatments, experiments, and arrangements still belong and within the scope of the current invention.

Claims
  • 1. The Poly night light consist of; At least one of the display unit which made out of the UPR compound has 3 dimensional curve, shape, configuration, design with overlay, underlay, double effects which can not made by conventional plastic injection process to get these effects. At least one of clipper means sealed within the UPR compound material to make solid installation, durable quality to allow the said poly display unit to fix with the said light means device. At least one of the light means to offer the brightness to said the poly display unit, or other areas of the said poly night light for illumination. At least one of the lamp holder with prong means to allow the power source can connect with related parts and said light means for illumination under predetermined functions, period of time, and effects.
  • 2. The Poly night light as claim 1, the said clipper means material can be selected from group combination from the plastic, metal, wood, pottery, porcelain.
  • 3. The poly night light as claim 1, the said light means may selected from group combination of incandescent bulb, neon bulb, LED, LED(s), Organic EL element(s), or conventional light means available from market place.
  • 4. The poly night light as claim 1, the said poly night light can pass the requirement for the testament including drop test, continuously on test, accumulate temperature testament, pulling test, oven test and related testament which required from market place.
  • 5. The poly night light as claim 1, the said functions which may incorporate with other optics kits which may selected from group combination from optic fiber, filter(s), stencil(s), cut-out(s), window(s), overlay, underlay, masking(s), lens, inks, painting, glue, or any related optic kits which can allow the visible light beams been seen under expected image.
  • 6. The poly night light as claims 1, the said poly display unit which has certain degree of the softness to allow the said display unit can against impact strength for more durable quality.
  • 7. The poly night light as claim 1, the said poly display unit with plurality of window(s), cut-out(s), and opening(s) to allow the light beam can be seen by viewer.
  • 8. The poly night light as claim 1, the said poly display unit with plurality of window(s), cut-out(s), and opening(s) to allow the fiber optics string can be install and allow the light beam to be seen by viewer.
  • 9. The poly night light as claim 1, the said lamp holder including sealed-unit which contain all the said LED related parts, circuit, control means, prong means sealed within the strict anti-flammable plastic case with the said lamp holder.
  • 10. The poly night light as claim 1, the said lamp holder has the connector to allow the said clipper means can fix on the said lamp holder tightly and solid.
  • 11. The poly night light as claim 1, the said lamp holder may have different designs and configuration and standard to fit the incandescent bulb, neon bulb, LED(s), Organic Electro-luminescent element(s) or the preferable combination of said light means.
  • 12. The poly night light as claim 1, the said poly display unit apply the hand painting for color.
  • 13. The poly night light as claim 1, the said poly display unit apply the spray for color painting.
  • 14. The poly night light as claim 1, the said UPR compound to pour into tooling to make the said display unit with desired design, configuration, shape.
  • 15. The poly night light as claim 1, the said UPR compound has some chemical material added within to make the desired softness, clearance, thickness, curing time, durable quality to meet market requirement.
  • 16. The poly night light as claim 1, the said UPR compound has variety additional chemical added within to get desired function, properties, quality to meet the market requirement.
  • 17. A sealed-unit for LED light device consist of: At least one of housing to allow the prong means, LED related circuit sealed into a safety standard plastic material which meet the safety standard's certain flammable grade under some supplier and wall thickness. At least one of the LED(s) to connect with the said LED related circuit and prong means to get the power and functions under predetermined features for illumination. The said LED may dispose of the said sealed-unit, connected by conductive wire, or install on the surface of sealed-unit without see the electric metal legs. The said prong means can be fix on the location or swivel type. The sealed-unit can be assembly with the said light device by conventional available skill of the art to make a final product.
