Claims
- 1. A method for the manufacture of a laminate of polyamino-bis-maleimide resin, which comprises impregnating a plurality of substrates with a polyamino-bis-maleimide prepolymer solution, obtained by the reaction of 1 mol of N,N'-4,4'-diphenylmethane-bis-maleimide with 0.25 to 0.4 mol of 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane in an alkyleneglycol monoalkyl ether as a solvent at an elevated temperature, drying the resultant web substrates thereby expelling the solvent therefrom, superimposing a plurality of the resultant prepregs to produce a composite, and subjecting the resultant composite to heat and pressure.
- 2. A method for the manufacture of a laminate of polyamino-bis-maleimide resin, which comprises superimposing at least one prepreg obtained by impregnating a substrate with a polyamino-bis-maleimide prepolymer solution, obtained by the reaction of 1 mol of N,N'-4,4'-diphenylmethane-bis-maleimide with 0.25 to 0.4 mol of 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane in an alkyleneglycol monoalkyl ether as a solvent at an elevated temperature, and drying the resultant web substrate thereby expelling the solvent therefrom, and a copper foil to produce a composite, and subjecting the resultant composite to heat and pressure.
- 3. A method for the manufacture of a laminate of polyamino-bis-maleimide resin, which comprises superimposing at least one prepreg obtained by impregnating a substrate with a polyamino-bis-maleimide prepolymer solution, obtained by the reaction of 1 mol of N,N'-4,4'-diphenylmethane-bis-maleimide with 0.25 to 0.4 mol of 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane in an alkyleneglycol monoalkyl ether as a solvent at an elevated temperature, said reaction further comprising an organic peroxide represented by the general formula
- R.sub.3 --O--O--OR.sub.3 (II) or R.sub.3 --O--O--R.sub.4 --O--OR.sub.3 (III)
- wherein R.sub.3 stands for ##STR5## group, providing that the two R.sub.3 's may denote the same or different groups, and R.sub.4 stands for ##STR6## group, and drying the resultant wet substrate thereby expelling the solvent therefrom, and a copper foil to produce a composite, and subjecting the resultant composite to heat and pressure.
- 4. A method for the manufacture of a laminate of polyamino-bis-maleimide resin of claim 1, wherein the amount of polyamino-bis-maleimide prepolymer, as solids, deposited on said substrate falls in the range of 20 to 80% by weight, based on said substrate.
- 5. A method for the manufacture of a laminate of polyaminobis-maleimide resin of claim 2, wherein the amount of polyamino-bis-maleimide prepolymer, as solids, deposited on said substrate falls in the range of 20 to 80% by weight, based on said substrate.
- 6. A method for the manufacture of a laminate of polyamino-bis-maleimide resin of claim 3, wherein the amount of polyamino-bis-maleimide prepolymer, as solids, deposited on said substrate falls in the range of 20 to 80% by weight, based on said substrate.
