Claims
- 1. A method of preparation of the polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group having the formula (I): ##STR127## comprising reacting a fluoroalkanoyl peroxide having the formula (II): ##STR128## wherein R.sub.F is --(CF.sub.2).sub.n1 X or ##STR129## m.sub.1 is an integer of 1 to 1000, m.sub.2 and m.sub.3 are respectively an integer of 0 to 3000, n.sub.1 is an integer of 1 to 10, X is a fluorine atom, chlorine atom or hydrogen atom and n.sub.2 is an integer of 0 to 8, R.sup.3 is R.sup.1 of the following formula (III), R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 of the formula (I) are the same or different atoms or groups, R.sup.4 is R.sup.2 of the following formula (III), R.sup.2 and R.sup.4 of the formula (I) are the same or different atoms or groups; with a monomer having the formula (III):
- CH.sub.2 .dbd.C(R.sup.1)(R.sup.2) (III),
- wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen atom, halogen atom or alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is hydrogen atom, halogen atom, cyano group, alkylsulfonic acid group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, amidoalkylsulfonic acid group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, ##STR130## R.sup.5 is hydrogen atom, alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms or hydroxyalkyl group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are the same or different atoms or groups respectively selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atom, alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms and hydroxyalkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R.sup.8, R.sup.9 and R.sup.10 are the same or different groups respectively selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atom and methyl group, R.sup.11 is alkylene group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or --(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.p CH.sub.2 --, R.sup.12 and R.sup.13 are the same or different atoms or groups respectively selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atom and alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, R.sup.14 is alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, m.sub.4 is an integer of 1 to 20, m.sub.5 and m.sub.6 are respectively an integer of 0 to 20, m.sub.7 is 1 or 2, m.sub.8 is an integer of 0 to 5, p is an integer of 1 to 10, R.sup.15, R.sup.16, R.sup.17 and R.sup.18 are the same or different atoms or groups respectively selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atom and methyl group, r is an integer of 0 to 2, s and t are respectively an integer of 0 to 3 and u is an integer of 1 to 5; or a monomer having the formula (IV):
- CH.sub.2 .dbd.C(Z.sup.1)[CO.sub.2 (CH.sub.2).sub.3 ].sub.m9 --Si(Z.sup.2).sub.2 (Z.sup.3) (IV),
- wherein Z.sup.1 is hydrogen atom or methyl group, Z.sup.2 and Z.sup.3 are groups having 1 to 10 carbon atoms respectively selected from the group consisting of alkyl group, alkoxy group and alkylcarbonyloxy group, m.sub.9 is 0 or 1 and Z.sup.1 is hydrogen atom when m.sub.9 =0.
- 2. A method of preparation of the polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group as claimed in claim 1 wherein the mol ratio of fluoroalkanoyl peroxide to the monomer having the formula (III) or (IV) is 1:0.5 to 1:1000.
- 3. A method of preparation of the polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group as claimed in claim 1 wherein the mol ration of the monomer having the formula (III) to the monomer having the formula (IV) is 1:0.01 to 1:100.
- 4. A method of preparation of the polymer comprising fluoroalkyl group as claimed in claim 1 wherein a halogenated aliphatic solvent is used as a solvent for the reaction.
