Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to obtaining a polymer receiver with high resistance to abrasions and breakage in addition to weather conditions by means of placing the magazine slot made of a metal material into the mold in guns with a polymer receiver, forming a receiver by pressing polymer thereon by injection or casting method, and having a metal structure of the magazine slot in this structure created.

PRIOR ART

In the state of the art, the polymer receiver is formed to be entirely polymer. In these applications, it is observed that the polymer receiver wears and even breaks down in time due to the frictions it is exposed to.

In the state of the art, during the use of the gun, the magazine slot wears out and deforms in time during the assembling-disassembling processes, depending on the use of the metal magazine with the slot made as polymer.

Another disadvantage of these applications in the state of the art is that they vary in hot and cold weather since they are entirely produced as polymers. It is observed that the magazine slot expands or closes by itself with the effect of hot and cold. As a result, it makes it impossible to constantly position the magazine in the magazine slot with the same tolerances.

The polymer receiver with metal magazine slot, which is the subject of the present invention, is designed as a structure that is both efficient and highly reliable in a manner in which drawbacks and disadvantages present in the applications of the state of the art are eliminated.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

The subject of the present invention is a polymer receiver formed by pressing polymer and polymer type material on the magazine slot made of a metal material by injection or casting method, wherein it has many advantages over the applications in the state of the art by means of its use in guns.

First, a metal magazine slot is formed in order to achieve the object of the present invention. This part is produced by two methods, molding method or manufacturing. Then, a mold is designed in order to form a polymer receiver with a metal magazine slot. The metal magazine slot is placed in the mold created and polymer is pressed thereon. The metal magazine slot is covered with polymer raw material such that it is integrated with the polymer receiver. The polymer receiver with the created metal magazine slot is thus used in guns and has a solid and superior structure than the applications in the state of the art.

The primary object of the present invention is to prevent the gun magazine and ammunition from wearing the polymer receiver and causing breaking down as a result of using the gun for a long time. The possibility of breaking down and loss of functionality due to wear over time is eliminated since the surfaces exposed to friction are metal in th polymer receiver of the present invention. It becomes superior to all polymer receivers in the applications in the state of the art by means of this characteristics thereof.

Another object of the present invention is to achieve a polymer receiver structure that is not affected by weather conditions. As it is known, it is observed that the polymer receiver changes its state spontaneously as a result of expansion, which is a material characteristic thereof when the weather is very hot or very cold. The magazine slot, which expands in hot air, not only disrupts the positioning of the magazine, but also causes the gun to dislocate its slot and fall down spontaneously the during operation. In cold weather conditions, it is not possible to position the magazine properly on the polymer receiver since said slot is closed. Both situations are not the desired results. Said negative result is prevented by positioning a metal magazine slot into the polymer receiver of the present invention.

Another object of the present invention is to obtain a structure that is solid and resistant to crashes and falls, which is lighter due to being polymer such as an whole metal body, by means of the metal magazine slot positioned therein.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The polymer receiver with the metal magazine slot performed to achieve the object of the present invention is shown in the attached figures.

Among these figures;

FIG. 1 illustrates the general view of the gun with polymer receiver of the present invention.

FIG. 2 illustrates the perspective view of the metal magazine slot.

FIG. 3 illustrates the detailed view of the recessed metal magazine slot.

Parts of the polymer receiver with metal magazine slot according to present invention are enumerated in figures in order to ensure a better understanding of the present invention. Whereas;

    • 1. Gun
    • 2. Receiver
    • 3. Magazine Slot
    • 3.1. Magazine Positioning Gap
    • 4. Preventive Barrier
    • 5. Recess

The general view of the gun (1) with the polymer material receiver (2) that is the subject of the invention is given in FIG. 1. The subject of the invention is a receiver (2) with the magazine slot (3) made of a metal material and is formed by pressing polymer on the magazine slot (3) placed in the mold by means of the injection or casting method.

There is a magazine positioning gap (3.1) in the middle of the magazine slot (3), which can be seen in FIG. 2. The magazine positioning gap (3.1) allows for attaching the magazine of the gun (1) to the receiver (2) of the gun (1). At the lower end of said magazine slot (3), there is a preventive barrier (4) that allows the magazine to be easily attached to the receiver (2). The preventive barrier (4) is in the form of a tab that goes around the lower part of the magazine slot (3). The preventive barrier (4) prevents the magazine from damaging the mouth part of the receiver (2) while the magazine is being attached by means of its structure.

During the formation of the receiver (2), the magazine slot (3) made of a metal material is placed in the mold. During the injection molding process, recesses (5) are made on the magazine slot (3) in order to hold the magazine slot (3) to the receiver (2) more tightly. As shown in FIG. 3, a receiver (2) with polymer material having a magazine slot (3) made of a metal material is obtained after the polymer pressing or casting process with injection is completed.
