Claims
- 1. A process for the preparation of polymers formed from anhydrides of the formula ##STR9## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently hydrogen or methyl, which comprises heating one or more of said anhydrides at a temperature between 150.degree. C. and 350.degree. C. in the absence of a catalyst.
- 2. A process according to claim 1, wherein said anhydride is heated at a temperature of 180.degree. to 230.degree. C.
- 3. A process according to claim 2, wherein said anhydride is heated for 12 to 24 hours.
