Claims
- 1. An advertising device comprising:
- a first sheet folded into two outer panels that at least partially overlie each other and which panels each have a folded end and a free end, a bond joining the outer panels between the fold and the free ends of the panels to define a compartment between the bond and the free ends; and
- a pop-up insert comprising a folded second sheet defining an attaching panel and a free panel having a free end opposite a folded end, said attaching and free panels at least partially overlying each other and said insert oriented and contained in said compartment with said free end of said free panel adjacent and located along the free end of one of said outer panels and the folded end of said insert spaced from said free end of said first sheet, said attaching panel secured to the other one of said outer panels, the free end of said insert being accessible adjacent the free end of said one outer panel and said insert being removable from the compartment by exerting a sufficient force on the free end of said insert to pull said insert from between the free ends of the outer panels to cause said insert to pop up and escape from between the outer panels.
- 2. The device of claim 1 further comprising an opening on the free end of said one outer panel to provide said accessibility to the free end of said insert.
- 3. The device of claim 1 wherein said insert is releasably secured to said other outer panel.
- 4. The device of claim 2 wherein said opening is a thumb notch.
- 5. The device of claim 1 wherein said insert contains a fragrance between said free panel and said attaching panel.
- 6. The device of claim 1 further comprising a second compartment bounded by the outer panels, the fold line between the outer panels and the bond joining the outer panels.
- 7. The device of claim 1 further comprising a removable strip in one of said outer panels to provide access to said second compartment when said strip is removed.
- 8. The device of claim 1 wherein at least one of said panels comprises a line of perforations in said other outer panel to permit separation of said insert from said other outer panel.
- 9. The device of claim 7 further comprising a specialty item contained in said second compartment.
- 10. The device of claim 7 further comprising:
- a line of perforations in said other outer panel for removing said insert from said first compartment; and
- a specialty item contained in said second compartment.
- 11. An advertising device comprising:
- a sheet folded into two panels that at least partially overlie each other;
- a first one of said panels having an opening formed within;
- an insert accessible through the opening and partially covered by said first one of said panels;
- said panels being adhesively adjoined near said insert;
- a compartment bounded by the fold between the panels, the panels and the adhesive bond between the panels;
- one of said panels having a removeable strip formed by two parallel perforated lines that provide access to said compartment.
