Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a portable foundation cream container, and more particularly, to a portable container for containing foundation cream such as powder or liquid cosmetics put on puffs and applied to the skin.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Typically, cosmetics such as foundations are used to thus provide an effect to protect the skin, brighten the skin and improve wrinkles. Such foundation cosmetics are used in portable foundation cream containers with puffs. In the portable foundation cream container called a powder compact, the cosmetics contained in the portable foundation cream container are applied to the skin with a solidified foundation put in a puff provided inside the powder compact. However, in the case of such a container, a user rubes an upper surface of the solidified foundation directly with the puff, and the powder is put in the puff to be applied on the face. In the process of rubbing the solidified foundation, powder of the foundation is blown, and thus there is a problem that the container and its surroundings are messy, and in the case that the puff is pressed strongly, there is a problem that more cosmetics than necessary are put on the puff. Therefore, recently, a cosmetic container was disclosed in Korean Utility-model Registration Publication No. 20-0480113, published on Apr. 21, 2015 (see FIG. 1), in which a liquid foundation is impregnated into a sponge and the sponge is pressed with a puff, to thus use the liquid foundation so as to be put on the puff and applied to the face. As shown in FIG. 1, the cosmetic container includes a container body 10 and a container lid 20 hingedly coupled to the container body 10 to be opened and closed. The container 10 includes a fixture 60 coupled to the container body 10, a cover 70 coupled to the fixture 60, a contents container 30 coupled to the fixture 60, a sponge 40 containing the powder loaded in the contents container 30, and a mesh net 50 coupled to the top of the contents container 30. The container body 10 has a button 12 having a locking protrusion 14 on one side of the container body 10 and a hinge formed on the opposite side of the button 12 and hinged to the container lid 20. In addition, the container body 10 accommodates the contents container 30 therein and the button 12 is easily retracted by a pushing operation of a user so that the locking protrusion 14 formed on the upper portion of the button 12 is easily retracted, to then be released from a hook 24 of the container lid 20. The container lid 20 covers the upper portion of the container body 10 and is hingedly connected to the container body 10 to serve to open or close the container body 10. The container lid 20 has the hook 24 formed at one side of the container lid 20 and has a protruding shape corresponding to the locking projection 14. The fixture 60 is further provided on the outer side of the contents container 30. The fixture 60 includes an upper extension portion 63, a pressing annular protrusion 64, and a hinge bracket (not shown) and a hinge pin (not shown) for engaging with the lid 70. A coupling groove 65 is formed in the lower inner circumferential surface of the fixture 60. The upper extension portion 63 extends upward from the outer circumferential surface of the fixture 60 and engages with the lower extension portion of the lid 70 to seal the contents container 30, and the pressing annular protrusion 64 is formed in the upper end of the fixture 60 to thus press the mesh net 50 coupled with the contents container 30 to prevent the mesh net 50 from moving.

In the inner space of the lid 70, a puff embedded space 72 capable of storing a puff as a makeup implement is formed. The contents container 30 is provided with a sponge 40 containing powder therein and has an engagement projection 31 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the contents container 30. The engagement projection 31 is engaged with the coupling groove 65 of the fixture 60, thereby allowing the contents container 30 to be accommodated in the container body 10.

In the container of FIG. 1 as configured above, when the mesh net 50 is pressed by using a puff, the sponge 40 mounted on the contents container 30 is pressed to discharge the powder or contents contained in the sponge 40 upward, and then the discharged powder or contents are put on the puff and applied to the face.

However, in the case of such a portable foundation cream container, the cosmetics impregnated with the sponge are put on the puff and are repeatedly applied to the face and then the puff is repeatedly brought into contact with the sponge. In this case, there is a problem that cosmetics are contaminated by germs or keratins which are present on the skin. In addition, since the structure of such a portable foundation cream container discharges cosmetics by pressing the sponge, cosmetics impregnated with the sponge cannot be exhausted completely.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT(S)

Hereinafter, a portable foundation cream container according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a portable foundation cream container according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a portable foundation cream container according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a portable foundation cream container 100 includes: a container main body 110 having a lid 120 for opening and closing the inside of the container main body, the lid 120 being formed on an upper portion of the container main body 110; an inner container 130 having a space for accommodating a cosmetic liquid S therein, an upper plate 131 that covers the cosmetic liquid accommodating space, in which a plurality of discharge ports 132 through which the cosmetic liquid is discharged are formed in the upper plate 131; a puff 126 that is used to apply the cosmetic liquid on the face; an air inflow passage 114 formed in the container main body 110 to allow the air to be introduced from an outside of the container main body 110 into the lower portion of the container main body 110; and a shape resilient body 140 formed outside the container main body 110 in which the air inflow passage 114 is formed, wherein the shape resilient body 140 is formed to be compressible and recoverable.

The container main body 110 has a cylindrical shape and the inner container 130 to be described later is coupled to the inside of the container main body 110. The lid 120 is coupled to the upper portion of the container main body 110 to open and close the container main body 110. A button member 111 for opening the lid 120 is provided on the container main body 110 opposite to the hinge portion for engaging with the lid 120 and a locking protrusion 111a that is hooked on a hook 121 of the lid 120 for maintaining the closed state of the lid 120 is formed at the upper portion of the button member 111. The button member 111 is restored by its own elasticity.

The lid 120 for opening and closing the container main body 110 is hinged to one side of the upper portion of the container main body 110 so that the lid 120 is opened by rotating the lid 120 to one side direction of the lid 120 around the hinge portion 125. The hook 121 is formed on the opposite side of the lid 120 hinged to the container main body 110, in which the hook 121 is engaged with the locking protrusion 111a formed on the button member 111 of the container main body 110. At the center of the upper surface of the lid 120, a clock 122 indicating time and date is provided. A mirror 123 is coupled to the lower surface of the lid 120 so that a user can see the mirror 123 and make up his or her face when the lid 120 has been opened. In some embodiments of the present invention, an LED bulb 124 powered by a built-in battery (not shown) is provided so that a portable foundation cream container can be used even in a dark place on one or both sides of the mirror 123. In this portable foundation cream container, the LED bulb 124 is switched by the hinge portion 125 of the lid 120 to be turned on when the lid 120 is opened and turned off when the lid 120 is closed. In this case, a switch button (not shown) is pressed by the rotation of the hinge portion 125 or the rotation of the hinge shaft of the hinge portion 125, so that the LED bulb 124 is turned on when the lid 120 is opened. That is, the LED bulb 124 is switched by the hinge portion 125 of the lid 120 without a separate operating switch, so that the LED bulb 124 is automatically turned on or off according to whether the lid 120 is opened or closed.

The inner container 130 is provided to receive the cosmetic liquid and discharge the cosmetic liquid when necessary. The inner container 130 is formed in a cylindrical shape and has a space in which the cosmetic liquid S is received. The plurality of discharge ports 132 through which the cosmetic liquid S is discharged are formed in the upper plate 131 covering the space in which the cosmetic liquid S is stored. An annular knob 138 protruding upward is formed at the edge of the upper plate 131 in which the discharge ports 132 are formed. The push plate 133 is coupled to the inside of the inner container 130 in order to support the cosmetic liquid S between the upper plate 131 and the bottom 134 of the inner container 130 upwards from below. An air inlet hole 135 is formed at one side of the bottom surface of the inner container 130 so that air flows into the inner container 130 from the outside. The air inlet hole 135 is for the inflow of air to be introduced into the inner container 130 through the air inflow passage 114 at the lower portion of the container main body 110 by pressing the shape resilient body 140 to be described later. Air is introduced into the lower portion of the push plate 133 from the outside through the air inlet hole 135 and the push plate 133 rises to discharge the cosmetic liquid.

As shown in FIG. 3, a circular fitting groove 136 is formed around the air inlet hole 135 and a guide protrusion 139 is formed in the vertical direction on the outer circumferential surface of the inner container 130. When the guide protrusion 139 is lowered along a vertical guide groove 117 formed on the inner circumferential surface of the container main body 110 at the time of engaging with the container body 110, the fitting groove 136 of the inner container 130 is correctly fitted into and engaged with the circular fitting protrusion 113 formed on the bottom of the container main body 110.

The puff 126 is provided on the upper side of the inner container 130. The puff 126 is used to enable a user to put the cosmetic liquid on the puff 126 and to make up his or her face, when the cosmetic liquid accommodated in the inner container 130 is discharged via the discharge ports 132. The puff 126 is provided to be seated inside a circular puff seating mount 126a.

Meanwhile, in some embodiments of the present invention, when the container lid 120 is closed, an annular sealing ring 127 is provided between the container lid 120 and the upper portion of the inner container 130 in contact with the container lid 120 (or the upper portion of the puff seating mount 126a). The annular sealing ring 127 is provided to prevent the cosmetic liquid of the inner container 130 from flowing out to the outside when the external pressure is changed. In this embodiment, the annular sealing ring 127 is coupled to an upper annular knob 138 of the inner container 130 and thus the inner container 130 is sealed when closing the container lid 120, thereby preventing the cosmetic liquid in the inner container 130 from being discharged to the outside even in a reduced pressure environment such as an airplane.

The air inflow passage 114 is formed on a lower bottom 112 of the container body 110 so that air is introduced into the air inlet hole 135 of the inner container 130 from the outside. A one-way check valve 115 is provided at one side of the air inflow passage 114. The one-way check valve 115 is for allowing the air to move from the outside to the inside of the inner container 130 and preventing the air from moving in the opposite direction from the inside of the inner container 130 to the air inflow passage 114.

In addition, a shape resilient body 140 is coupled to the outside of the container body 110 where the end of the air inflow passage 114 is located. The shape resilient body 140 has a substantially semispherical right-handed portion and is made of a soft material that can be compressed and recovered. A vent hole 141 is formed at the center of the shape resilient body 140. Accordingly, when the user presses the shape resilient body 140 while closing the vent hole 141, the air of the shape resilient body 140 and the air inflow passage 114 passes through the check valve 115 to the lower portion of the inner container 130. In FIG. 3, the check valve 115 is formed on the bottom 112 of the container main body 110, but may be formed in the air inlet hole 135 of the inner container 130 at the end of the air inflow passage 114.

Hereinafter, a method of operating the portable foundation cream container 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

A user pushes the button 111 in the portable basic cream container 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention thereby rotating the lid 120 of the container 100 in one direction and then opening the container 100. Then, the user takes out the puff 126 with one hand. The shape resilient body 140 provided outside the lower portion of the container main body 110 is pressed with the other hand, in order to discharge the cosmetic liquid S contained in the inner container 130 coupled to the inside of the container main body 110 from the inner container 130. Here, the shape resilient body 140 is pressed inward while the vent hole 141 is closed with the finger of the opposite hand. The air inside the air inflow passage 114 communicating with the inside of the shape resilient body 140 is moved to the lower portion of the inner container 130 through the check valve 115 while the shape resilient body 140 is compressed in a state where the vent hole 141 of the shape resilient body 140 is closed. Accordingly, the cosmetic liquid S is discharged through the discharge ports 132 while the push plate 133 is lifted up. Here, the user adjusts the amount of the cosmetic liquid S to be discharged by suitably adjusting the pressing force of the shape resilient body 140. When the cosmetic liquid S is discharged to the upper surface of the upper plate 131 of the inner container 130 through the discharge ports 132 as described above, the discharged cosmetic liquid is put on the puff 126 to make up the face. When the pressing of the shape resilient body 140 is released, air is introduced from the outside through the vent hole 141 of the shape resilient body 140 into the shape resilient body 140 and then the shape resilient body 140 is restored.

Accordingly, in the case of the conventional container using powder put on a puff, the powder is blown and the container and its periphery are dirty due to the blown powder occurring when putting the powder on the puff. However, the present invention can solve the above-described conventional defects and is advantageous that the cosmetic liquid S can be completely exhausted while discharging the cosmetic liquid S so that the user can easily use the portable foundation cream container. In addition, in some embodiments of the present invention, the force to press the shape resilient body 140 is adjusted to control the cosmetic liquid to be discharged.

In addition, in some embodiments of the present invention, a clock 122 is provided on the lid 120 of the container, so that a user can make up his or her face in time without taking out a watch or a mobile phone when using the portable foundation cream container. Further, the LED bulb 124 is provided on the lower surface of the lid 120 and thus the portable foundation cream container can be conveniently used even in a dark place.

In addition, in some embodiments of the present invention, the inner container 130 is detachably coupled with the container main body 110 when the fitting protrusion 113 of the container body 110 is fitted into the fitting groove 136 of the bottom 134 of the inner container 130. Accordingly, the annular knob 138 of the inner container 130 can be gripped and separated from the inner container 130 after opening the lid 120 when the cosmetic liquid is completely exhausted, and then the inner container 130 can be advantageously replaced with a new inner container 130. A throughhole (not shown) may be formed in the bottom 112 of the container main body 110 to facilitate replacement of the inner container 130. It is possible to easily replace the inner container 130 by pushing up the inner container 130 with the finger through the throughhole (not shown) formed in the bottom 112 of the container body 110.

Next, a portable foundation cream container 100 according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a portable foundation cream container 100 according to a second embodiment of the present invention.

The portable foundation cream container 100 according to the second embodiment is different from that according to the first embodiment in that a threaded portion (e.g., a female screw portion) 137 is formed on the bottom surface of the inner container 130, and a corresponding threaded portion (e.g., a male screw portion) 116 that is threadedly coupled to the threaded portion of the inner container 130 is formed on the bottom surface of the inner container 130.

As shown in FIG. 4, in the portable foundation cream container 100 according to the second embodiment, the female screw portion 137 is formed at the center of the bottom surface of the inner container 130 and the male screw portion 116 is formed at the center of the bottom portion of the container body 110, in which the female screw portion 137 and the male screw portion 116 are screwed together. Accordingly, in the second embodiment, as in the first embodiment, when the cosmetic liquid in the inner container 130 is exhausted, the inner container 130 can be replaced with a new inner container 130 to be used.

Other configurations and effects are the same as those of the first embodiment, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

The portable foundation cream container 100 according to the third embodiment is different from the first or second embodiment in that a button member 150 is provided instead of the shape resilient body 140 formed at the end of the air inflow passage 114. The button member 150 in the third embodiment includes a cover portion 151 provided on the outer side of the container main body 110 and movably coupled to the inside of the air inflow passage 114 and having a vent hole 154 formed at the center of the cover portion 151, a horizontal extending protrusion member 153 formed in a cylindrical shape around the vent hole 154 of the cover portion 151 and extended horizontally inwardly of the air inflow passage 114 to thus be coupled to the center of a fixing plate 160 formed inside the air inflow passage 114, and a spring 156 formed between the fixing plate 160 and the cover portion 151. In addition, a locking hook 155 for preventing the button member 150 from being seceded from the fixing plate 160 is formed at an inner end of the horizontal extending protrusion member 153 and a sealing ring 161 for sealing with the horizontal extending projection member 153 is formed on the fixing plate 160.

Accordingly, in the third embodiment of the present invention, when a user presses the button member 150 inward while closing the vent hole 154 of the button member 150 with the finger, the button member 150 moves to the inside of the air inflow passage 114 and the air in the air inflow passage 114 is moved to the lower portion of the inner container 130 through the check valve 115. As a result, the push plate 133 rises and the cosmetic liquid S passes through the discharge ports 132 and is discharged. Thereafter, when the pressing of the button member 150 is released, air is introduced into the air inflow passage 114 from the outside through the vent hole 154 of the button member 150 and at the same time the button member 150 is returned to an original position by the spring 156. Further, in the third embodiment, as in the first embodiment, a circular fitting groove 136 formed around the air inlet hole 135 of the inner container 130, and a circular fitting protrusion 113 formed on the bottom 112 of the container main body 110, a guide protrusion 139 in the vertical direction of the inner container 130, and a guide groove 117 in the vertical direction formed in the inner circumferential surface of the container main body 110 may be formed. In addition, in the third embodiment, similarly to the second embodiment, a threaded portion (e.g., a female screw portion) 137 may be formed on the bottom surface of the inner container 130, and a corresponding threaded portion (e.g., a male screw portion) 116 screwed to the threaded portion may be formed.
