Claims
- 1. A portable endoscope system comprising:
- an illuminating light guide for transmitting light for illuminating an object, said illuminating light guide having an entrance end portion disposed in an endoscope control part, and an illuminating light supply unit for supplying illuminating light to said illuminating light guide, said illuminating light supply unit being detachably attached to said control part;
- a light source lamp positioned within said illuminating light supply unit such that said light source lamp is opposite to said entrance end portion of said illuminating light guide disposed in said endoscope control part;
- wherein said endoscope control part comprises an electrically conductive frame;
- wherein said illuminating light supply unit is connected to said endoscope control part by a unit connecting member which is fixedly connected to said electrically conductive frame through an electrically insulating member, so that said unit connecting member is electrically insulated from said electrically conductive frame.
- 2. A portable endoscope system comprising:
- a control part for controlling operations of the endoscope, said control part comprising a receiving socket;
- a built-in battery type unit comprising a light source and a battery, said built-in battery type unit being selectively connectable to said control part by attachment to said receiving socket;
- an AC/DC conversion type unit comprising a light source and an AC/DC converter, said AC/DC conversion type unit being selectively connectable to said control part by attachment to said receiving socket;
- a light guide cable unit for transmitting illuminating light from an external light source lamp to said control unit, said light guide cable unit being selectively connectable to said control part by attachment to said receiving socket; and
- an external DC power supply unit for obtaining power from an external DC power supply, said external DC power supply unit being selectively connectable to said control part by attachment to said receiving socket.
- 3. A portable endoscope system according to claim 2, further comprising:
- an electrically insulating member provided between said receiving socket and a remainder of said control part, wherein each of said built-in battery type unit, said AC/DC conversion type unit, said light guide cable unit, and said external DC power supply unit, when attached to said receiving socket, are electrically insulated from said remainder of said control part.
- 4. A portable endoscope system according to claim 2, said built in battery type unit, said AC/DC conversion type unit, said light guide cable unit, and said external DC supply unit, each comprising a selectably connectable illuminating light supply unit, that supplies illuminating light to an illuminating light guide, said portable endoscope system further comprising:
- an illuminating light guide for transmitting light for illuminating an object, said illuminating light guide having an entrance end portion disposed in said control part, said illuminating light supply unit being detachably attached to said control part.
- 5. A system including a unit connecting member for connecting an illuminating light supply unit to a control part of an endoscope for preventing a flow of stray current from the illuminating light supply unit to the control part through the unit connecting member, said system comprising:
- an illuminating light supply unit;
- a control part;
- said unit connecting member comprising:
- a receiving socket mountable to said control part, said receiving socket detachably receiving said illuminating light supply unit for connection to and disconnection from said control part;
- an electrically insulating member provided between said receiving socket and said control part, for electrically insulating said illuminating light supply unit from said control part; and
- a fastening ring mounting said receiving socket to said control part;
- wherein said electrically insulating member is interposed between said receiving socket and said fastening ring, and said fastening ring being positioned inside of said receiving socket, to prevent a flow of stray current from said illuminating light supply unit to said control part.
- 6. A system according to claim 5, wherein said receiving socket is formed of an electrically conductive material.
- 7. A system according to claim 5, wherein an electrically insulating casing is adapted to surround said control part, said electrically insulating member and the electrically insulating casing contacting said receiving socket mountable to said control part.
- 8. The system according to claim 5, said receiving socket and said fastening ring being formed of electrically conducting material.
