Abstract
A portable knockdown trolley hoist, comprising: a trolley support member having opposing ends; a trolley having a plurality of upper roller bearings and a plurality of lower roller bearings, the trolley rollably sandwiching an upper portion and a lower portion of the trolley support member between the plurality of upper roller bearings and the plurality of lower roller bearings, the trolley having a telescoping extension boom fastened thereto and extending therefrom, which has a plurality of extension boom sections and a sheave mounted thereto, the trolley having a hoist having a winch and a hoist cable extending from the winch and about the sheave and having a lifting end; opposing end supports, each having an opposing support member and opposing substantially upright legs removably fastened to the opposing support member; opposing end mounts, each releasably sandwiching an opposing end of the trolley support member and an opposing support member therebetween.

Claims
  • 1. A portable knockdown trolley hoist, comprising: a trolley support member having opposing ends;a trolley having a plurality of upper roller bearings and a plurality of lower roller bearings, said trolley rollably sandwiching an upper portion and a lower portion of said trolley support member between said plurality of upper roller bearings and said plurality of lower roller bearings,said trolley having a telescoping extension boom fastened thereto and extending from said trolley, said telescoping extension boom having a plurality of extension boom sections,said extension boom having a sheave mounted thereto,said trolley having a hoist having a winch and a hoist cable, said hoist cable extending from said winch and about said sheave and having a lifting end;opposing end supports, each said opposing end support having an opposing support member and opposing substantially upright legs removably fastened to said opposing support member;opposing end mounts, each said opposing end mount releasably sandwiching a said opposing end of said trolley support member and a said opposing support member therebetween.
  • 2. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 1, wherein said trolley has opposing side roller bearings and said trolley support member has opposing sides transverse to said upper portion and said lower portion of said trolley support member: said opposing side roller bearings rollably sandwiching said opposing sides of said trolley support member therebetween.
  • 3. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 1, wherein: said telescoping extension boom is substantially in line with said trolley support member.
  • 4. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 1, wherein: said telescoping extension boom sections slidably fit one into the other.
  • 5. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 1, wherein said portable knockdown trolley hoist further comprises: at least one trolley positioner adapted to pull said trolley to a desired location along said trolley support member.
  • 6. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 2, wherein said portable knockdown trolley hoist further comprises: at least one trolley positioner adapted to pull said trolley to a desired location along said trolley support member.
  • 7. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 1, wherein said portable knockdown trolley hoist further comprises: opposing trolley positioners adapted to pull said trolley to a desired location along said trolley support member.
  • 8. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 2, wherein said portable knockdown trolley hoist further comprises: opposing trolley positioners adapted to pull said trolley to a desired location along said trolley support member.
  • 9. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 7, wherein: said at least one trolley positioner has at least one winch and at least one winch cable, said at least one winch cable releasably fastened to said trolley support member.
  • 10. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 8, wherein: said at least one trolley positioner has at least one winch and at least one winch cable, said at least one winch cable releasably fastened to said trolley support member.
  • 11. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 1, wherein said opposing end mounts are adapted to move said trolley support member substantially transverse to the axis of said trolley support member.
  • 12. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 1, wherein: each said opposing end mount comprises an end trolley having a plurality of end trolley upper roller bearings and a plurality of end trolley lower roller bearings, each said opposing end trolley sandwiching an upper portion and a lower portion of a said opposing support member between said plurality of end trolley upper roller bearings and said plurality of end trolley lower roller bearings.
  • 13. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 2, wherein: each said opposing end mount comprises an end trolley having a plurality of end trolley upper roller bearings and a plurality of end trolley lower roller bearings,each said opposing end trolley sandwiching an upper portion and a lower portion of a said opposing support member between said plurality of end trolley upper roller bearings and said plurality of end trolley lower roller bearings.
  • 14. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 12, wherein each said end trolley has opposing end trolley side roller bearings and each said opposing support member has opposing sides transverse to said upper portion and said lower portion of said opposing support member: said opposing end trolley side roller bearings rollably sandwiching said opposing sides of said opposing support member therebetween.
  • 15. The portable knockdown trolley hoist according to claim 13, wherein each said end trolley has opposing end trolley side roller bearings and each said opposing support member has opposing sides transverse to said upper portion and said lower portion of said opposing support member: said opposing end trolley side roller bearings rollably sandwiching said opposing sides of said opposing support member therebetween.
  • 16. A portable knockdown trolley hoist and vehicle combination, comprising: a vehicle;a trolley support member having opposing ends;a trolley having a plurality of upper roller bearings and a plurality of lower roller bearings, said trolley rollably sandwiching an upper portion and a lower portion of said trolley support member between said plurality of upper roller bearings and said plurality of lower roller bearings,said trolley having a telescoping extension boom fastened thereto and extending from said trolley, said telescoping extension boom having a plurality of extension boom sections,said extension boom having a sheave mounted thereto,said trolley having a hoist having a winch and a hoist cable, said hoist cable extending from said winch and about said sheave and having a lifting end;opposing end supports, each said opposing end support having an opposing support member and opposing substantially upright legs removably fastened to said opposing support member;opposing end mounts, each said opposing end mount releasably sandwiching a said opposing end of said trolley support member and a said opposing support member therebetween;said opposing substantially upright legs removably mounted to said vehicle.
  • 17. The combination of claim 16, wherein said trolley has opposing side roller bearings and said trolley support member has opposing sides transverse to said upper portion and said lower portion of said trolley support member: said opposing side roller bearings rollably sandwiching said opposing sides of said trolley support member therebetween.
  • 18. The combination of claim 16, wherein: each said opposing end mount comprises an end trolley having a plurality of end trolley upper roller bearings and a plurality of end trolley lower roller bearings,each said opposing end trolley sandwiching an upper portion and a lower portion of a said opposing support member between said plurality of end trolley upper roller bearings and said plurality of end trolley lower roller bearings.
  • 19. The combination of claim 17, wherein: each said opposing end mount comprises an end trolley having a plurality of end trolley upper roller bearings and a plurality of end trolley lower roller bearings,each said opposing end trolley sandwiching an upper portion and a lower portion of a said opposing support member between said plurality of end trolley upper roller bearings and said plurality of end trolley lower roller bearings.
  • 20. The combination of claim 16, wherein: wherein said portable knockdown trolley hoist is removably mounted interior to said vehicle.
