Claims
- 1. A leg for supporting an open office partition panel and a base assembly for such a panel, said leg including:
- end and side walls forming an upstanding structure of generally U-shaped horizontal cross-section,
- laterally-extending feet formed at the bottom of said side walls,
- laterally-extending brackets formed at the top of said side walls,
- the bottom of said end wall bent to extend horizontally between said side walls to form a bottom wall,
- said end wall projecting substantially above said side walls,
- ledges formed on said end wall, and means to receive a threaded glide formed at the bottom of the walls.
- 2. The leg of claim 1 in which said means to receive a threaded guide includes a threaded weld nut fastened to the underside of said leg bottom wall and means to reinforce said leg bottom wall, said reinforcing means including an upstanding member of U-shaped, horizontal cross-section positioned inside said leg on said bottom wall and fastened to said bottom wall and said leg.
