Abstract
A possible-to-sway fence connector includes a fix base and a movable base. The fix base is fixed on a vertical side of a post of a fence, having two studs with a pivot hole at a right and a left side. The movable base has a rear convex sidewall with a horizontal pivot hole and two studs with a pivot hole. Then an end of a transverse tube of a fence is combined with the movable base in such a way that the transverse tube may sway to the right and the left side. Further, the movable base is positioned in the fix base by means of a horizontal pivot extending in the pivot hole of the movable tube. Thus, movable base can swing up and down with the horizontal pivot relative to the fix base, and the transverse tube can swing to the right and the left side so that units of a fence between two posts can be adjusted in mutual angles up and down, and right and left.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a possible-to-sway fence connector enabling a fence to change its direction according to the topography of the location where the fence is to be built.

2. Description of the Prior Art

As to conventional metal fences made of aluminum, they are composed of transverse and vertical rode or tubes and panels and posts, and each panel is supported by a right and a left vertical rod. Then the fence has to be changed in its direction or its height at connecting points of the each unit of panels and posts according to the condition such as swelling and recessing of the ground surface where the fence is to be positioned. For example, when the fence is to be bent for 45 degrees, two units of panels and the posts between the two units of the panels have to be adjusted according to the 45 degrees condition. If there is some swell or recess on the ground, the units of panels and the posts have to be adjusted depending on the condition of the location. Therefore, the building work takes much time, and moreover, the posts and the panels are generally shaped square, and the connected points may be small, not being stable enough unless the panels and the posts are not connected with each other in 90 degrees or 180 degrees.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention has been devised to offer a possible-to-sway fence connetor adjustable in the angle upward and downward and rightward and leftward,

The feature of the invention is a fence connector consisting of a fix base fixed on a vertical side of a post of a fence, and a movable base combined with the fix base and possible to sway up and down and right and left with pivots connecting the fix base with the movable base, and the movable base with an end of a transverse tube of a fence. The fix base has a stud respectively extending straight forward from two sides of a rear side. The movable base has a rear convex side fitted in an opening between the two studs of the fix base and pivotally connected with the fix base, and a stud respectively extending straight forward from an upper and the lower end of the rear side. Then an end of a transverse tube of a fence is fitted in an opening of the studs of the movable base and pivotally connected with the movable base. Thus a unit of a fence can be adjusted in the up and down and right and left direction relative to the post by means of the fence connector.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a fence using a possible-to-sway fence connector in the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a partial magnified view of FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of a possible-to-sway fence connector in the present invention;

FIG. 4 is a front view of the possible-to-sway fence connectors connected with components of a fence in the present invention;

FIG. 5 is an upper view of the possible-to-sway fence connectors connected with components of a fence in the present invention, showing them enabling a fence to be changed in its direction in an angle less than 90 degrees or larger than 90 degrees; and,

FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of the possible-to-sway fence connector connected with components of a fence in the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A preferred embodiment of a possible-to-sway fence connector in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1 is to be used for a fence consisting of plural panels 10 and a post 20 between every two units of neighboring panels 10, plural transverse tubes 11 and plural vertical tubes 12 combined together, The possible-to-sway fence connector is used to connect a panel 10 with a post 20, including a fix base 30 and a movable base 40.

The fix base 30, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, is fixed on one of the vertical sides of the post 20, having a stud 31 with a pivot hole 310 respectively extending straight forward from two vertical sides of the fix base 30, The movable base 40, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, is U-shaped, having a rear convex side provided with a horizontal pivot hole 41 and a connect stud 42 with a pivot hole 420 respectively extending straight forward from an upper and a lower end of the rear convex side. Then the rear convex side with the pivot hole 41 is fitted between the two studs 31 of the fix base 30 and one end of a transverse tube 11 of a unit of panels fits in the opening between the two studs 42, with a pivot 50 respectively inserted through the pivot hole 41 and through the two pivot holes 420 and further through the transverse tube 11. Therefore, one unit of the panels 10 can be adjusted in its angle rightward and leftward relative to the movable base 40, as shown in FIG. 5.

In using the possible-to-sway fence connectors for connecting a fence, there are two kinds of connecting ways as shown below, with reference of FIGS. 2, 5 and 6.

    • 1. When the location for building a fence have some change, the angle of a unit of panels 10 relative to the movable base 40 can be adjusted to the right or the left side with the pivot 50 as a fulcrum, for changing the angle between the two neighboring units of panels 10 according to the configuration of the location .
    • 2. When the location for building a fence have some swell or recess on the ground, the height of the unit of the panels 10 can be altered higher or lower by adjusting the angle of the unit of the panels 10 upward or downward relative to the fix base 30.

Thus the fence can be easily built on any locations, making use of the possible-to-sway fence connector in the invention.

While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
