The present invention relates to a pre-tied necktie having four strips, and more particularly, to a. pre-tied necktie having pre-knots and an adjustable attachment means.
The present invention provides a pre-tied necktie having four strips.
The object of the present invention is to provide a pre-tied necktie, having first, second, third and fourth strips of necktie fabrics, respectively having a first neck portion and a second neck portion. The first and second neck portions are attached together to form a first neck band and the third and fourth neck portions are attached together to form a second neck band. In addition, the pre-tied necktie further includes a fastening means to fasten the first and second neck bands to tie the pre-tied necktie around a user's neck. The first and third tails are tied together to form a first knot and the second and fourth tails are tied together to form a second knot. A third knot may be formed below the first and second knots by tying the strips, The first, second, and third knots are V-shaped tapering upward.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a pre-tied necktie, having first, second, third and fourth strips of necktie fabrics, respectively having a first, neck, portion and a second neck portion. The first and second neck portions are attached together to form a first neck band and the third and fourth neck portions are attached together to form a second neck band. The first and second tails are tied to the third and fourth tails to form a first knot. Alternatively, the first and third tails may be tied to the second and fourth tails to form a first knot.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a pre-tied necktie, having first, second, third and fourth strips of necktie fabrics, respectively having a first neck portion and a second neck portion. The first and second neck portions are attached together to form a first neck band and the third and fourth neck portions are attached together to form a second neck band. The first and second tails are tied together to form a first knot and the third and fourth tails are tied together to form a second knot. The strips may be sewn together right above the knots.
The advantages of the present invention are: (1) the present invention provides a pre-tied necktie having pre-knots and an adjustable attachment means; (2) the necktie of the present invention can be worn without tying a knot and removed without untying the knot; (3) the pre-tied necktie of the present invention has a permanently knotted necktie; (4) it is very easy and simple to wear or take off the pre-tied necktie of the present invention; and (5) the pre-tied necktie of the present invention is aesthetical and structured to offer a variety of different styles.

The pre-tied necktie includes a first strip 10 of necktie fabric having a first neck portion 11 and a first tail 12, a second strip 20 of necktie fabric having a second neck portion 21 and a second tail 22, a third strip 30 of necktie fabric having a third neck portion 31 and a third tail 32, and a fourth strip 40 of necktie fabric having a fourth neck portion 41 and a fourth tail 42. The first and second neck portions 11 and 21 are attached together to form a first neck band 60 and the third and fourth neck portions 31 and 41 are attached together to form a second neck band 70. Preferably, the neck portions are attached by sewing to form the neck bands 60 and 70.
The pre-tied necktie further includes a fastening means 50 to fasten the first and second neck bands 60 and 70 to tie the pre-tied necktie around a user's neck. Preferably, the fastening means 50 is a hook and loop fastener, it can be any other means suitable to fasten the pre-tied necktie around a user's neck. The fastening means 50 may further include a length adjustment means (not shown).

The pre-tied necktie may further comprise a knot cover(s) 90 to wrap around a knot.
The first, second, and third knot covers may have a cover fastening means.
Instead of a knot cover 90, a knot may be sewn to preserve its upwardly tapering shape and/or a triangular shaped insert may be inserted in a knot before being sewn.
There are a number of ways to tie a necktie, for example, four in hand, half Windsor, Windsor, shell knot, cross knot, simple knot, trend, knot, double cross knot, prince Albert knot, plain knot, etc. Preferably, the first, second, and/or third knots 80, 82 and/or 84 are made in Windsor fashion.
The first and second neck portions 11 and 21 are attached together to form a first neck band 60 and the third and fourth neck portions 31 and 41 are attached together to form a second neck band 70. The fastening means 50 fastens the first and second neck bands 60 and 70 to tie the pre-tied necktie around a user's neck.

The pre-tied necktie may further comprise a first knot cover, a second knot cover, and a third knot cover wherein the first, second, and third knot covers respectively cover the first, second and third knots 80, 82 and 84 to form a V-shape tapering upward.
