The disclosure relates to hookah bowl devices and more particularly pertains to a new hookah bowl device for facilitating a pre-loaded hookah bowl to be smoked in a hookah. The device includes a hookah bowl that is preloaded with a smokable material. The hookah bowl has a heat resistant liner and a foil covering that is wrapped around the hookah bowl. The hookah bowl is comprised of a biodegradable material such that the hookah bowl can be disposed of when the smokable material is depleted.
The prior art relates to hookah bowl devices including a side heat bowl device that includes a first chamber for holding a smokable material and a second chamber for holding a heat source. The prior art discloses a prepackaged smoking capsule for smoking in a hookah. The prior art discloses a disposable hookah bowl that includes a combustion shelf, an inlet seal and an outlet seal. The prior art discloses a variety of hookah bowl devices that includes a crucible upper end and a pre-loaded combustion bowl that is insertable into the crucible upper end. The prior art discloses a hookah device that includes a heating unit, a head for holding a cooking element and a pipe.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a hookah bowl that is pre-loaded with a smokable material. The hookah bowl is insertable into a hookah to facilitate a user to smoke the smokable material without preparing the hookah bowl. A plug is removably inserted into the hookah bowl and the plug is removable from the hookah bowl prior to inserting the hookah bowl. A foil covering is wrapped around the hookah bowl to inhibit the hookah bowl from combusting. The foil covering covers the smokable material in the hookah bowl and the foil covering is perforated prior to smoking the smokable material. In this way the foil covering facilitates air to pass through the foil covering for combusting the smokable material.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
The hookah bowl 12 has a top end 18, a bottom end 20 and an outer wall 22 extending between the top end 18 and the bottom end 20. The outer wall 22 is continuously arcuate about an axis extending between the top end 18 and the bottom end 20 such that the hookah bowl 12 has a cylindrical shape. Moreover, each of the top end 18 and the bottom end 20 is open and the outer wall 22 curves inwardly between the top end 18 and the bottom end 20 such that the top end 18 has a diameter that is greater than a diameter of the bottom end 20. The hookah bowl 12 may have a length ranging between approximately 4.0 inches and 5.0 inches. The top end 18 may have a diameter ranging between approximately 10.0 inches and 12.0 inches and the bottom end 20 may have a diameter ranging between approximately 4.0 inches and 5.0 inches.
The hookah bowl 12 includes a disk 24 that is integrated into the hookah bowl 12 and the disk 24 is positioned closer to the top end 18 than the bottom end 20 such that the disk 24 defines a combustion chamber 26 between the disk 24 and the top end 18. Moreover, the smokable material 14 is positioned in the combustion chamber 26. The disk 24 is foraminous to facilitate air to pass through the disk 24 when the smokable material 14 is being smoked. The outer wall 22 has an inside surface 28 and an outside surface 30, and the hookah bowl 12 is comprised of a pressed biodegradable material such as compressed cardboard or other similarly rigid material. The inside surface 28 is lined with a heat resistant lining 32 to inhibit the outer wall 22 of the hookah bowl 12 from combusting. Furthermore, the heat resistant lining 32 covers a top side 34 and a bottom side 36 of the disk 24. The heat resistant lining 32 may comprise an epoxy that is capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 500.0 degrees Fahrenheit such that the smokable material 14 does not cause the hookah bowl 12 or the disk 24 to combust when the smokable material 14 is being burned.
A plug 38 is provided that is removably inserted into the hookah bowl 12 for closing the hookah bowl 12. The plug 38 is removable from the hookah bowl 12 prior to inserting the hookah bowl 12. Furthermore, the plug 38 is inserted into the bottom end 20 of the hookah bowl 12 and an outer surface 40 of the plug 38 conforms to the heat resistant lining 32 lining the inside surface 28 of the outer wall 22. The outer surface 40 forms a fluid impermeable seal with the heat resistant lining 32 to inhibit air from passing through the bottom end 20. The plug 38 may be comprised of cork or other type of organic material that is biodegradable.
A foil covering 42 is wrapped around the hookah bowl 12 and the foil covering 42 is comprised of a heat resistant material to inhibit the hookah bowl 12 from combusting. Additionally, the foil covering 42 covers the smokable material 14 in the hookah bowl 12 to define a covered section 44 of the combustion chamber 26. The foil covering 42 is perforated by the user prior to smoking the smokable material 14. In this way the foil covering 42 facilitates air to pass through the foil covering 42 for combusting the smokable material 14. The foil covering 42 completely covers the outside surface 30 of outer wall 22 of the hookah bowl 12.
The foil covering 42 extends between the top end 18 and the bottom end 20. Additionally, the foil covering 42 extends downwardly along the inside surface 28 of the outer wall 22 at a point located adjacent to the top end 18 of the hookah bowl 12. In this way the foil covering 42 defines a lip 46 between the covered section 44 of the combustion chamber 26 and the top end 18 to block wind when the hookah bowl 12 is employed for smoking the smokable material 14. The foil covering 42 extends over the smokable material 14 such that the foil covering 42 closes the top end 18 of the hookah bowl 12. The foil covering 42 may come in a variety of colors that corresponds to the flavor of the smokable material 14 that is positioned in the combustion chamber 26 to facilitate visual identification of the flavor.
In use, the foil covering 42 that defines the covered section 44 of the combustion chamber 26 is perforated and the plug 38 is removed from the bottom end 20 of the hookah bowl 12. The bottom end 20 of the hookah bowl 12 is extended into a stem 48 of the hookah 16 and a flame is applied to the foil that covers the smokable material 14. In this way the smokable material 14 is combusted when the air is drawn through the hookah 16 to facilitate the smokable material 14 to be smoked with the hookah 16. The hookah bowl 12 is disposed of when the smokable material 14 in the combustion chamber 26 has been depleted.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
