Abstract
A press-type fixing assembly for fixing a heat dissipator includes a seat body and a pressing body. The seat body has a bottom plate and a side plate that are connected with each other to form a L-lettered shape. Further, the bottom plate is provided with a positioning hole, and the side plate is provided with a through hole. The pressing body has a pressing plate. The lower end face of the pressing plate is connected to a post. The post correspondingly penetrates through the positioning hole, and the center of the post has a vertical partition. One end of the post has an engaging portion. With the post of the pressing body being pressed into the positioning hole of the seat body, the post can penetrate through the bottom plate via the elastic deformation of the partition. Finally, the post is engaged with the fixing hole of the connected substrate, thereby to rapidly fix the position of the heat dissipator.

FIG. 4 is a schematic view showing the structure of the post in another embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference to FIG. 1, it is an exploded view showing the assembly of the present invention. The fixing assembly of the present invention comprises a seat body 1 and a pressing body 2. The seat body 1 has a bottom plate 11 and a side plate 12. The bottom plate 11 and the side plate 12 are integrally formed together with a L-lettered side view. The bottom plate 11 is provided with a positioning hole 111. The side plate 12 is provided with a semi-circular through hole 121. Further, the pressing body 2 has a pressing plate 21 and a post 22. The pressing plate 21 and the post 22 are integrally formed into a T-lettered shape. The post 22 is formed into a cylindrical shape to correspond to a positioning hole 111 of the seat body 1. The center of the post 22 is provided with a vertical partition 221 for partitioning the post 22 into two parts, so that the post 22 can be compressed to have a ductile space for elastic deformation. The end of the post 22 has an engaging portion 222. The engaging portion 222 can be an inverted hook or a semicircular piece (inverted hook in the present embodiment). The diameter of the engaging portion 222 is larger than that of the positioning hole 111 of the seat body 1. Further, the post 22 can be formed into a polygonal shape. The post 22 in FIG. 4 is shown as a tetragonal post. The body of the post 22 is provided with at least one penetrating hole 223 (two in the present embodiment), so that the post 22 can be compressed to have a ductile space for elastic deformation.

With reference to FIG. 2, it is a schematic view showing the operation of the present invention. It can be seen that, after a heat dissipator 3 abuts against a heat-generating element 5 provided on a substrate 4, a pressing rod 6 is used to position and press the heat dissipator 3. Further, both ends of the pressing rod 6 are provided with a hook 61, respectively. The hook 61 is used to penetrate the through hole 121 of the seat body 1. Then, the positioning hole 111 of the seat body 1 is aligned with to the fixing hole 41 of the substrate 4. Finally, the post 22 of the pressing body 2 correspondingly penetrates into the positioning hole 13 and the fixing hole 41. Therefore, the post 22 is compressed and deformed until the engaging portion 222 of the post 22 completely penetrates through another surface of the substrate 4 and gets engaged therewith. Further, when the engaging portion 2 is pressed, the pressing rod 6 is pulled downwardly until the engaging portion 222 penetrates through another surface of the substrate 4, thereby to fix the position of the heat dissipator without any deviation.

With reference to FIG. 3, it is a schematic view showing another operation of the present invention. It can be seen that two diagonal ends of the heat dissipator 3 are provided with a hook 61a, respectively. The hook 61a penetrates into the through hole 121 of the seat body 1. With the post 22 of the pressing body 2 penetrating into the positioning hole 111, the hook 61a of the heat dissipator 3 can be pulled downwardly. Then, the post also penetrates into the fixing hole 41 of the substrate 1 until the engaging portion 222 of the post 22 is engaged with the substrate 4. In this way, the position of the heat dissipator 3 can be fixed.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to the foregoing preferred embodiments, it will be understood that the invention is not limited to the details thereof. Various equivalent variations and modifications can still be occurred to those skilled in this art in view of the teachings of the present invention. Thus, all such variations and equivalent modifications are also embraced within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
