Claims
- 1. An active composition for the pre-laundering treatment of stains on fabrics consisting essentially of:
- (a) about 25% to about 90% of at least one di-ester formed of a fatty acid of about 8 to about 22 carbon atoms chain length, and a polyethylene glycol or a polypropylene glycol;
- (b) 0 to about 75% of at least one nonionic surface-active agent; and
- (c) 0 to about 60% of at least one anionic surface-active agent;
- the total of (b) and (c) being about 10% to about 75%.
- 2. The composition of claim 1 wherein said ester is polyethylene glycol dioleate, wherein the polyethylene moiety has a molecular weight of about 400.
