Claims
- 1. A bracket assembly comprising:a bracket including a planar support flange; at least one flexible assembly tab foldably coupled with the support flange, wherein the flexible portion extends to a distal tip, the distal tip adapted for coupling with coupling features of a printed circuit board, the at least one assembly tab foldable from a first unfolded, uncoupled position to a second folded, coupled position; an outer flange coupled with and disposed adjacent to the support flange; and a printed circuit board coupled with the support flange, the printed circuit board including coupling features integral therewith.
- 2. The assembly as recited in claim 1, further comprising a computer chassis, and the bracket assembly coupled to at least a portion of the computer chassis.
- 3. The assembly as recited in claim 1, wherein the support flange includes coupling features therewith.
- 4. The assembly as recited in claim 3, wherein the coupling features include a first set of apertures disposed within the support flange.
- 5. The assembly as recited in claim 3, wherein the coupling features includes a first set of apertures disposed within the support flange, and the support flange further includes a second set of apertures.
- 6. The assembly as recited in claim 1, wherein the assembly tab is folded over and disposed at least partially within coupling features of the printed circuit board.
- 7. A bracket assembly comprising:a bracket including a planar support flange; a printed circuit board coupled with the planar support flange, the printed circuit board including coupling features therewith, the printed circuit board having a planar surface and a side edge, the planar surface of the printed circuit board disposed over the planar support flange; an outer flange coupled with and disposed adjacent to the support flange; and means for foldably coupling a flexible assembly tab over a side edge of the printed circuit board from a first unfolded position.
- 8. The bracket as recited in claim 7, wherein the support flange further comprises a first set of apertures therein.
- 9. The bracket as recited in claim 8, wherein the support flange further comprises a second set of apertures therein.
- 10. A method comprising:providing a bracket assembly comprising: a bracket including a planar support flange; at least one flexible assembly tab foldably coupled with the support flange, wherein the flexible portion extends to a distal tip, the assembly tab configured to for coupling a printed circuit board with the bracket, the at least one assembly tab foldable from a first unfolded, uncoupled position to a second folded, coupled position; an outer flange coupled with and disposed adjacent to the support flange; and a printed circuit board coupled with the support flange, the printed circuit board including coupling features integral therewith; and folding the assembly tab from a first position to a second folded position.
- 11. The method as recited in claim 10, further comprising coupling the assembly tab with coupling features of the printed circuit board.
- 12. The method as recited in claim 11, wherein coupling the assembly tab with coupling features includes disposing a distal tip of the assembly tab within one or more apertures of the printed circuit board.
- 13. The method as recited in claim 11, further comprising coupling the assembly tab with coupling features of the support flange.
- 14. The method as recited in claim 11, wherein coupling the assembly tab with coupling features includes disposing a distal tip of the assembly tab within one or more apertures of the printed circuit board and coupling the assembly tab with coupling features of the support flange.
- 15. The method as recited in claim 12, further comprising disposing the distal tip of the assembly tab within one or more apertures of the support flange.
- 16. The method as recited in claim 10, wherein folding the assembly tab from the first position to the second folded position comprises folding the assembly tab over an edge of the printed circuit board.
- 17. A method comprising:placing a printed circuit board on a planar support flange of a bracket, the bracket including at least one flexible assembly foldably coupled with the support flange, the flexible assembly configured to for coupling a printed circuit board with the bracket, the at least one flexible assembly foldable from a first unfolded, uncoupled position to a second folded, coupled position; and folding and deforming the flexible assembly around an edge of a printed circuit board.
- 18. The method as recited in claim 17, further comprising coupling the bracket with a portion of a computer chassis.
- 19. The method as recited in claim 17, further comprising folding and deforming the flexible assembly at least adjacent to a planar surface of the printed circuit board.
- 20. The method as recited in claim 17, further comprising folding and deforming the flexible assembly within coupling features of the printed circuit board.
- 21. The method as recited in claim 17, further comprising folding and deforming the flexible assembly within coupling features of the printed circuit board and within coupling features of the support flange.
