Claims
- 1. A transfer sheet for spirit duplication to produce concealed images containing an oxidizing agent capable of oxidizing a subsequently applied iodide to produce a color forming iodine reactant, in which the transfer sheet comprises a flexible paper base sheet having a transfer coating containing a colorless, soluble copper salt and an amine selected from the group consisting of piperidine, piperazine, phenylenediamine, tallowamine, trichloromelamine, triisopropenolamine, and melamine to improve the hygroscopic character of the copper salt.
- 2. A transfer sheet as claimed in claim 1 in which the materials are present in the coating in the ratio of 1 part by weight copper salt to 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of amine.
- 3. A transfer sheet as claimed in claim 1 in which the materials are present in the coating in the ratio of 1 part by weight copper salt to 0.4 to 2 parts by weight amine.
- 4. A transfer sheet as claimed in claim 1 in which the copper salt is selected from the group consisting of the chloride, nitrate, sulphate, acetate, lactate, benzoate and stearate of copper, CuCl.sub.2.KCl, CuCl.sub.2.NH.sub.4 Cl and copper-m-benzene disulfonate.
