Claims
- 1. A process for warm dehulling of bean fruits and subsequent grinding, comprising:
warming the fruits; and grinding the bean fruits and separating hulls from the bean fruits, wherein the grinding is carried out by means of one double-milling step, followed by individualising the bean fruits on a baffle plate and aspiration with removal of the hulls.
- 2. The process as claimed in claim 1, comprising:
flaking or fine grinding the bean fruits following aspiration.
- 3. The process as claimed in claim 1, wherein two-step rough-grinding takes place during the double-milling.
- 4. The process as claimed in claim 1, comprising:
passing a gas flow through a mixture of the ground beans and hulls in a countercurrent for hull separation; and aspirating and removing the hulls from the mixture by a cascading impacting effect of the mixture.
- 5. An installation for warm dehulling of bean fruits and subsequent grinding, comprising:
a steaming apparatus and/or a fluidised bed for heating the bean fruits; a rough-grinding mill for double-milling the bean fruits; and a baffle individualizer connected downstream of the rough-grinding mill followed by a hull separator.
- 6. The installation as claimed in claim 5, comprising:
a flaking mill and/or fine milling device is connected downstream of the hull separator.
- 7. The installation as claimed in claim 5, wherein the rough-grinding mill contains two directly superposed roller pairs with serrated rollers.
- 8. The installation as claimed in claim 5, wherein the hull separator contains baffles arranged to cascade over one another with conical baffle surfaces, whereby between every two baffles hoppers are arranged, into open floors of which each of the underlying baffles protrudes.
- 9. The installation as claimed in claim 8, wherein at least two baffles are provided.
- 10. The installation as claimed in claim 9, wherein the baffles are arranged concentrically to a center axis of the hull separator.
- 11. A hull separator comprising:
a substantially cylindrical housing with an upper material inlet, which merges into a delivery chute; a lower material outlet; a lower gas inlet; an upper gas outlet; several baffles arranged concentrically to a central axis of the housing and cascading over one another, which have conical baffle surfaces which distribute material inflowing through the delivery chute in a direction of inner walls of the housing; a hopper between every two baffles for deflecting material flow to a baffle surface of an underlying baffle, with each lower baffle protruding into an open floor of the hopper; an opening of the gas inlet arranged under a lowest baffle, concentrically to a central axis of the housing; and an upper first baffle having a closed conical baffle surface, while the baffle surfaces of the upper baffles are open at a cone apex.
- 12. The process as claimed in claim 1, wherein the warming is performed by contact heat and/or in a hot gas flow.
