Claims
- 1. A urinal for collecting human wastes, comprising:an upper portion and a lower portion, said container being integrally made of a disposable, substantially biodegradable, grindable material, said material being completely grindable by means of a grinding, liquefying and deodorizing machine for dumping said disposable material through a sewer system; said lower portion having a base and a lower portion of an entry spout and said upper portion having an upper portion of an entry spout and a handle, one of said lower portion and said upper portion having a flange with a female portion and the other of said lower portion and said upper portion having a flange with a male portion to be snap fitted into said female portion to provide tight engagement; and an anti-slipping surface finish for avoiding slippage of the container during usage and designed for comfortable human skin contact provided on the container.
- 2. The container according to claim 1, wherein said anti-slipping surface is obtained by molding the container with a mold containing a stainless mesh base.
- 3. A urinal for collecting human wastes, comprising:an upper portion and a lower portion, said container being integrally made of a disposable, substantially biodegradable, grindable material, said material being completely grindable by means of a grinding, liquefying and deodorizing machine for dumping said disposable material through a sewer system; said lower portion having a base and a lower portion of an entry spout and said upper portion having an upper portion of an entry spout and a handle, one of said lower portion and said upper portion having a flange with a female portion and the other of said lower portion and said upper portion having a flange with a male portion to be snap fitted into said female portion to provide tight engagement; and an anti-slipping surface finish for avoiding slippage of the container during usage and designed for comfortable human skin contact provided on the container; wherein said disposable, biodegradable, grindable material is molded with a thickness of approximately 2 mm to approximately 5 mm and is capable of substantially retaining its imperviousness to human wastes fluids during a period of time of at least approximately 2 hours, provided the initial temperature of said wastes is below approximately 140° F. (60° C.).
- 4. A urinal for collecting human wastes, comprising:an upper portion and a lower portion, said urinal being integrally made of a disposable, substantially biodegradable, grindable material, said material being completely grindable by means of a grinding, liquefying and deodorizing machine for dumping said disposable material through a sewer system; said upper and lower portions having a texturized anti-slipping finish integrally embedded on the outer surface of the material, said finish corresponding to a grid pattern; said lower portion having a base and a lower portion of an entry spout and said upper portion having an upper portion of an entry spout and a handle, one of said lower portion and said upper portion having a flange with a female portion and the other of said lower portion and said upper portion having a flange with a male portion to be snap fitted into said female portion to provide tight engagement; and said flanges providing sealed engagement of said upper and lower portions when subjected to weight stress by a patient.
- 5. The urinal according to claim 4, wherein said cellulose pulp is formed by 5 to 10% of colophone resin, 0.5 to 1% of kerosene wax or liquid paraffin suspension, 0.1 to 0.5% of vegetal coloring matter, 1 to 10% of modified starches and the rest of the mixture is formed by cellulose raw or recycled fiber, all percentages being taken by weight of the dry fiber mass.
