Claims
- 1. A process for improving the permanent pleat properties of pleated textile material of cotton, in which the textile material is subjected to the steps of:
- (a) treatment with a keratolyic liquid of the kind used for the permanent-waving of human hair, washing it out of the textile material after it has acted thereon; then
- (b) impregnation with a suspension of a finely divided glazing powder of the kind used in ceramics as a glazing material; and then
- (c) heat treatment of the thus-treated textile material at a temperature of above 180.degree. C.
