Claims
- 1. Process for the continuous polymerization of chloroprene in aqueous alkaline emulsion in the presence of emulsifiers and initiators at 0.degree. to 60.degree. C., wherein a mixture of 2.0 to 5.0% by weight of a salt of disproportionated abietic acid and 0.1 to 1.0% by weight, in each case relative to the total amount of monomer, of an n-dodecyl benzene sulphonate is used as emulsifier.
- 2. Process according to claim 1, characterized in that the polymerization is additionally carried out in the presence of 0.001 to 0.1% by weight, relative to the total monomers, of a hydrocarbon which contains aromatic (C.sub.A), naphthenic (C.sub.N) and paraffinic (C.sub.P) carbon atoms in a concentration of C.sub.A 20-50%, C.sub.N 0-40% and C.sub.P 40-80%, and has a molecular weight of 180 to 750.
