Claims
- 1. A compound of formula XIII ##STR21## substantially free of the L,L isomer, wherein R.sup.1 is lower alkyl, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are either both hydrogen or together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached represent a fused benzene ring optionally substituted by a group selected from hydroxy, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy and halogen and B.sup..sym. is an alkali metal cation or a quaternary ammonium ion.
- 2. A compound of formula XIII as claimed in claim 1 which is the triethylamine salt of 1-(3-bromo-2-D-methylpropanoyl)-L-Pro-SH.
- 3. A compound of formula VII ##STR22## substantially free from the L,L-isomer, wherein R.sup.1 is lower alkyl, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are either both hydrogen or together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached represent a fused benzene ring optionally substituted by a group selected from hydroxy, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy and halogen or a di-cyclohexylamine salt thereof.
- 4. A compound of formula (VII) as claimed in claim 3 which is 1-(3-Bromo-2-D-methylpropanoyl)-L-proline, or a dicyclohexylamine salt thereof.
