Claims
- 1. Process for preparing a compound of formula (I):
- 2. Process according to claim 1, characterized in that dibutyltin oxide is used in an amount of from 0.5 to 5 mol % relative to the alcohol of formula (III).
- 3. Process according to claim 2, characterized in that dibutyltin oxide is used in an amount of from 1 to 3 mol % relative to the alcohol of formula (III).
- 4. Process according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the reaction is carried out at a temperature from 110 to 180° C.
- 5. Process according to claim 4, characterized in that the reaction is carried out at a temperature from 140 to 160° C.
- 6. Process according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the reaction is carried out with a (meth)acrylate (II)/alcohol (III) molar ratio of from 1.5 to 5.
- 7. Process according to claim 5, characterized in that the reaction is carried out with a (meth)acrylate (II)/alcohol (III) molar ratio of from 2 to 3.
- 8. Process according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that n-butyl (meth)acrylate is used as compound (II).
- 9. Process according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the reaction is carried out in the presence of from 500 to 3000 ppm of at least one stabilizer relative to the batch.
- 10. Process according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that a stabilizer is used selected from phenothiazine, di-tert-butylhydroxytoluene, hydroquinone methyl ether, para-phenylenediamine and mixtures thereof in any proportion.
