Claims
- 1. A process for preventing or reversing cataract formation on the lens of the eye which comprises topically administering a therapeutically effective amount of a physiologically acceptable solution of a composition that interacts with the constituents of the lens that cause opacification, said composition being selected from the group consisting of a glycol, and a mixture of a glycol and an aldehyde.
