Claims
- 1. A reactor for preparing commercial quantities of glucose comprising:(a) a reactor vessel, (b) an inlet for sucrose; (c) an outlet for glucose; and (d) a fructosyltransferase.
- 2. The reactor of claim 1, further comprising an outlet for a polyfructan.
- 3. The reactor of claim 1, wherein said inlet for sucrose is a continuous inlet.
- 4. The reactor of claim 1, wherein said outlet for said polyfructan is a continuous outlet.
- 5. The reactor of claim 1, wherein said outlet for glucose is a continuous outlet.
- 6. A reactor for preparing commercial quantities of fructose comprising:(a) a reactor vessel; (b) an inlet for sucrose; (c) an outlet for fructose; and (d) a glucosyltransferase.
- 7. A reactor for preparing glucose and fructose from sucrose comprising:(a) a reactor vessel comprising: i) an inlet for sucrose; ii) an outlet for glucose; and iii) a fructosyltransferase; and (b) a reactor vessel comprising: i) an inlet for sucrose; ii) an outlet for fructose; and iii) a glucosyltransferase.
- 8. The reactor of claim 1, further comprising a separator located between said reactor vessel and said outlet for glucose.
