Claims
- 1. A novel free-flowing cyanuric acid composition having at least 90% cyanuric acid crystals with particle sizes between 400 and 650 microns and containing about 0.01 to about 0.08% phosphate values produced by mixing sufficient amounts of crude cyanuric acid with an aqueous phosphoric acid solution containing about 10 to about 30% phosphoric acid to form a 10 to 45% crude cyanuric acid slurry;
- heating the slurry to a temperature of about 180.degree. to about 220.degree. C under at least the autogenously developed pressure to digest the crude cyanuric acid;
- cooling the digested cyanuric acid to precipitate the cyanuric acid crystals; and
- recovering the novel cyanuric acid composition.
