- 6. A process according to claim 5 wherein said solvent is chlorobenzene.
- 7. A process for the autoxidation of an isopropylphenyl ester to the hydroperoxyisopropylphenyl ester said process comprising contacting said isopropylphenyl ester with oxygen in the presence of chlorobenzene and a catalyst combination consisting essentially of copper phthalocyanine and t-butylhydroperoxide at a temperature of from about 80.degree. C. to about 130.degree. C.
- 8. A process according to claim 7 wherein said isopropylphenyl ester is p-isopropylphenyl acetate.
