Claims
- 1. An implantable bone grafting tissue consisting of purified bone tissue containing less than about 2% fat on average, having a mechanical strength greater than that of the natural bone from which said grafting tissue has been obtained and having a compressive mechanical strength comprised between 10 MPa and 20 MPa.
- 2. An implantable bone grafting tissue as in claim 1 wherein said purified bone tissue has been brought into contact with a fluid in supercritical state.
- 3. An implantable bone grafting tissue as in claim 1, wherein said purified bone tissue has been cleansed of lipid organic matter by treatment with a fluid in supercritical state having penetrated throughout said purified bone tissue.
- 4. An implantable bone grafting tissue as in claim 1, wherein said implantable bone grafting tissue is sterilized and non-toxic.
- 5. An implantable bone grafting tissue consisting of purified bone tissue having been brought into contact with a fluid in supercritical state, said bone grafting tissue containing less than about 2% fat on average, having a mechanical strength greater than that of the natural bone from which said bone grafting tissue has been obtained, said bone grafting tissue having a compressive mechanical strength comprised between 10 MPa and 20 MPa.
