Claims
- 1. A process for rendering inorganic siliceous material compatible with and adherent to organic resins comprising coating the surfaces of said inorganic siliceous material, prior to or at the time of combination with said organic resin, with a polymer having a molecular weight of greater than 1000 comprising units of the formula ##STR8## wherein R is a divalent hydrocarbon radical; R.degree. is a monovalent alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group; X is a monovalent alkoxy, hydroxy or oxy- group; y is 0 or 1; v is an integer of 1 to 6; z is 0, 1 or 2; a is a mole fraction of 0 or 0.004 to 0.6; and b, d and e are mole fractions ranging from about 0.004 to about 0.6 with the proviso that d is greater than, equal to or slightly less than the sum of a, b and e.
- 2. The process of claim 1 wherein the inorganic siliceous material is glass fibers.
