Claims
- 1. A process for the purification of ceramic polymeric precursors comprising reacting a ceramic polymeric precursor with a fluid by soaking said ceramic polymeric precursor in said fluid under conditions subjecting said ceramic polymeric precursor and fluid to supercritical pressure and supercritical temperature thereby creating a monolithic structure, and extracting by-products from said ceramic polymeric precursor.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said by-products include halogen containing compounds, organic compounds and amine containing compounds.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein said fluid comprises an ammonium based compound.
