Claims
- 1. An ultrafine particulate complex oxide containing titanium dioxide, which is an ultrafine particulate complex oxide having a BET specific surface area of about 5 to about 200 m2/g, and has a core/shell structure.
- 2. An ultrafine particulate complex oxide containing titanium oxide as claimed in claim 1, which is in a mixed crystal state of allowing a bond of —Ti—O-metal-based element- to be present within a primary particle.
- 3. An ultrafine particulate complex oxide containing titanium oxide as claimed in claim 1, wherein the average primary particle size is from about 0.008 to about 0.3 μm.
- 4. An ultrafine particulate complex oxide containing titanium oxide as claimed in claim 1, wherein a decrease in the percentage of the BET specific surface area after heating at 700° C. for 1 hour is about 20% or less.
- 5. A composition comprising at least one ultrafine particulate complex oxide containing titanium oxide selected from the ultrafine particulate complex oxides containing titanium oxide as claimed in claim 1.
